It was perfect for a relaxing break. We had our own balcony to just sit and enjoy the view. So much thought had gone into providing everything you would need, fresh milk, bottled water, toiletries and fluffy towels. The food at the pub was delicious.

poor communication, poor facilities food was nice and room was clean but a spa hotel it isn't anymore. they failed to tell us beforehand we have been many times but felt cheated as they could have let us know we booked a year in advance.

Hotel was clean, the beds comfy and the staff were polite.

Hotel was clean, the beds comfy and the staff were polite. But a few things to note which we found dissapointing. So we had a large deluxe king room, I would of hoped for 2 large towels we had 1 large towel for 2 people to use? The shower was lovely BUT, by the time we had both showered the bathroom floor had a puddle on it and we had to use one of the 2 hand towels to soak it up. The lamp on the bed on one side was loose so no direction, and if you had the main lights on don't look up if your laying on the bed you would be blinded by the spot lights. Lovely TV but no way to tell what programmes were coming up or were on as no info under guide and apparently it was a Wednesday in April? We decided we would eat at the restaurant, well we went to the bar first hubby asked for a pint of bitter the staff had no idea what this was?, I made a comment about ohh apparently they have cocktails, this led to the bar staff looking panicked so I dropped it. The food prices all seemed pretty high and honestly the whole area felt cold and clinical, and being dissapointed about the limitation on drinks we decided to walk the 3 mins to a Brewyers fayre which was opposite, best decision we made, food 1/3 cheaper, they knew what Bitter was and had a great selection cocktails. Breakfast was included in the price, it was ok but I have had better, again the resturant area really felt cold and clinical. The staff when chatting to were lovely, the bed and room overall was clean and comfy but just be ready to have waders for the bathroom and to bring extra towels with you. Had hoped for a bit more but recommend the Brewyers fayre opposite atmosphere and staff were excellent.

As stated earlier, this stay was good, I enquired about Gym facilities and went to see that all was good in that area plus a swim pool and Sauna! All of the usual stuff you need at an Hotel were there and very well catered for. All staff we encountered were happy to assist and that's good to know.

Stayed one night, great value as we booked dinner, bed and breakfast. We used the leisure facilities which were great. We had a drink in the bar and had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was good quality and nicely presented. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything catered for in the rooms, although there wasn’t a hairdryer, which wasn’t a problem for us as I always bring my own.

I booked a deluxe king room but pretty sure it was just a standard room as was much smaller than the one I previously stayed in… which was booked as a standard room so who knows! Bed was quite hard but other than that all fine.
