The location was very rural (it is on a farm) and it felt as if we were staying in the countryside. We are walkers and were able to walk directly from the property. The room was cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay, lovely breakfast in the cafe the following morning, not a lot of interaction with staff as entry is arrival/entry is all automated and was all seamless, but when we did bump into any staff they were great. The room was lovely, looking out over the street and an antiques shop, access was fine (there's no parking and we couldn't park on the street outside but there's free parking throughout and a car park 5 mins walk down the road that we parked in) - a great find and a great stop off for us on our way through, wished we'd been able to stay longer.

Beautiful grounds and so peaceful and quiet.
Building inside has so much character and is grand.
Massive rooms and bathroom was lovely, it had the biggest shower.
Staff (the lady on night reception from 9 pm when I arrived at last minute) was so friendly and helpful as I asked loads of questions about the place.
The lady early morning on reception was equally helpful and very friendly.
A nice really warm welcoming and staff presence and I will definitely come back again.

This is a very comfortable hotel. The staff are very welcoming. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good with vegetarian options. The availability of secure on-site parking was much appreciated. It's very convenient to walk to Powis Castle.

The accommodation was perfect for my requirements as a solo traveller especially in the current climate.
Rebecca was the perfect host and could not have done more to make my stay perfect.
It was only the weather that let the stay down as I would have loved to spend time in their gardens.
