Very clean and comfortable. Evening meal very good. I absolutely loved the little individual teapot in the room - a nice touch !

Comfortable room. Off-road parking. Excellent breakfast with a good choice from full "English" to other more sophisticated options such as Eggs benedict.

Quiet village with easy access to St Cuthbert’s Way and other walks/hikes. Short drive to Jedburgh with it’s magnificent Abbey and Mary Queen of Scot’s’ House. Many other historical monuments of interest in the area.

What a lovely place!
What a lovely place! The only down-side was the busy A68 that runs through it. At peak times the traffic is constant and allowed to go 40 mph through it, why ????? The speed limits in some parts of Scotland are illogical, who decides??

Millie the girl who looked after us at this hotel was magnificent. We were attending a concert in nearby Kelso and accommodation was limited so ended up here. Millie was our receptionist, waitress in the bar and ran the breakfast room the next morning. They were obviously short staffed and she coped with a full hotel practically on her with a cheery smile and a lovely manner.
A really lovely flat in saint Boswells, immaculately presented. The hosts were great and answered any questions I had leading up to the booking, and also provided clear instructions on how to get into the flat. You can really tell the hosts care about the property, putting out breakfast things so you dont need to worry about that when you arrive.
Nice hotel by a small village. All the staff were very good despite being very busy. Food was good although it was a limited menu due to Covid rules. Would like to go back when we are all back to normal. Breakfast was good. The man serving in the evening was great fun, especially with the football on.
Very comfortable hotel. Relaxed, old fashioned atmosphere with friendly staff, good food and drink. Pretty garden and beautiful surrounding countryside especially in springtime.
Dog-friendly, comfortable hotel, in a good area for exploring the Border area. Members of staff were helpful
and welcoming, and treated guests with respect.
