Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good, on site parking. Evening meals - not a bad selection.

The location was great, close to footpaths and very quiet with excellent views.

Don’t bother to stay here. Noisy rooms facing the main road. Traffic noise was just awful and would last all night. Dirty room with mouldy bathroom. Towels that smelled mouldy too. Dirty cups, curtains coming, dusty and unclean. No one came to tidy up the room or fill up tea and coffee. Oh and by the way, the Strutt Arms Hotel doesn’t even exist anymore, this place is now called Elephant & Peacock and Booking.com doesn’t bother to change their website so apparently encourages misleading information. I certainly wouldn’t have booked for my family and I if I would have had correct information about this place.
Ripley was my birthplace & childhood home so I'm prejudiced!
Ripley was my birthplace & childhood home so I'm prejudiced! Unfortunately today it has met the fate of many small towns so you wouldn't go to Ripley for a holiday but to visit famil},friends or other parts of Derbyshire.

Hi there.
Hi there. Its mr foster we stayed at Thomson way Ripley at the weekend. Had a good stay. On returning and unpacking our case we have discovered two hairdriers....so one of them must belong to the host. I'm very sorry for this mishap and would like some details where I can post it back to the host. Hope to hear from you very promptly so we can send it back. Thank you .

My wife's family live here and so the location is ideal.
My wife's family live here and so the location is ideal. We found a really value for money gastropub at nearby Denby village that serves food all day. Food was good quality, properly cooked and good amounts. We fully recommend the BULL'S HEAD. Every evening there is a special offer.
We visited Chatsworth House which is 21 miles from Lumb Farm country club whilst staying here.
Lovely spacious apartment some updates needed but only minor (wonkey toilet seat) hole in the wall behind the door, butthis didn't affect our stay, the apartment is great value for money situated right in the centre of Ripley.
The accommodation was in a quiet location in Ripley with off road parking for the first visitor to arrive. (There was two accommodations on this site but there was only a single width driveway up to both houses.)
We have more than 70 million property reviews, and they're all from real, verified guests.
