Everything was as good as I hoped for, the Manor is very picturesque and we stayed in room 4. So pleased we opted to stay in the main part of the hotel. A big room, a huge bed, and two armchairs almost a mini suite. The bathroom is spotless, spacious, and well appointed. A full bath with shower over and a separate walk-in shower. View out to the front lawned area, and the car was visible from here. We didn't have any food in the restaurant that night as we had a main meal on our way over. Breakfast was included in the deal with booking.com and was absolutely delicious with everything you could want. The homemade granola was excellent and so sweet that no sugar needed to be added. Full English breakfast followed, and the bacon was really good, as was the rest of the items. Checkout was smooth, and there were no issues or unexpected extra charges. So, thank you all for a relaxing getaway we will return.

Good choice of cooked breakfasts. Restaurant very popular and worth booking even for a Monday night, good selection on the main menu and daily specials menu and very satisfied with all meals taken. Room was very clean and fresh and the bed comfortable. Nice old pub with low ceilings and great to find that locals still call in for a drink after work. Attractive beer garden which is a sun trap. Cheerful and obliging staff.
