It is a convenient location for the specialist car garage (in Bassingbourn cum Kneesworth) where I take my old car for servicing and maintenance an annual basis.
This is the first time we have stayed in Potton, normally staying closer to Cambridge, but Potton fitted the bill.
We visited Duxford IWM and NT Wimpole Hall both about 30 minutes away whilst my car was being serviced, repaired and MoT'd.

The Coach House was a very pleasant place to stay but the thing that made it memorable was the staff who were extremely helpful, very friendly (especially Jasmine) and did everything they could to help us with any query or request we had. The two things that need attention are the absence of a disabled toilet and having to pay extra for a cooked breakfast.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Rob the bar manager went the extra mile sorting out a few of my wifes requests regarding my daughters wedding etc. The bride and MOTB and bride maids stayed here and all had great rooms and thought this was an ideal venue pre wedding. Jane from housekeeping also helped me at the drop of a hat carrying numerous items from the brides room and placing them in the transporting vehicle, this really helped me out

I had never visited Bedfordshire before and this villiage was a great place to introduce myself to the county. Stayed here for one night as we had an event nearby, friendly little town with great amenities. Would stay here again if I had another event in the area.
The bed was made with a flat sheet as well as a duvet - great idea, especially as it was so warm. Nice touches like tissues next to the bed, hand cream and conditioner in the bathroom and dimmable bedside lights. There was a hairdryer and a plug near a mirror, which is so often missed.
The village was nice with some lovely old buildings, especially the library and bus stop in the market place
Everything. Part of the reason for the visit was for a reunion with friends going back over 65 years. The facilities that the hotel provided helped immensely to contribute to the successes of this event. ALL of the staff were wonderful.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would look forward to a return visit in the future.
A great big thank you to every one concerned.
Staff were professional, polite, friendly and helpful from the very beginning of my stay through to the end. The room was very comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was as expected.
Hotel is easy to locate. Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.
Everything. Quaint cottage with original beams but also modern comfortable tasteful fittings and decorations. Peaceful location handy for the A1 but traffic noise only noticeable at peak times. Located in Roxton (not Potton) which is a pretty village.
Lovely hotel in Potton and great bar/restaurant too. I used to work here as a teenager (when it was the Rose and Crown) and growing up in Potton. Really nice renovation job they've done on it. Comfortable and luxurious stay.
Staff were particularly helpful and welcoming.
Continental breakfast was fine (and request for oat milk happily met).
Parking easy (at rear of hotel, so felt safe) - even on a busy Saturday evening.
