The room was exceptionally nice- the one photo (of the bathroom) doesn’t come close to doing it justice. I liked that it was separate to the main building too.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

The Morar hotel is located in a small picturesque village overlooking Morar bay and sands.
My wife and I had a two night stay over and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel staff when we used the dining room and bar facilities. All of the staff members looked after us impeccably, in particular Akram and Tuan worked hard to ensure our stay was memorable.
We would certainly recommend the Morar hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us.
Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us. It is also very well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. The beach was perfect, just like in the photos! The hotel was excellent, a very good menu and tasty food. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Mallaig, 3 miles away, and took a boat trip and got to see Minke whales! We also took the ferry to Skye, just 45 minutes away, and had a fantastic display by dolphins following the ferry!

Morar Hotel is a lovely refurbished hotel with great views from the restaurant and the bedroom we had. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the food was good. Excellent buffet choice at breakfast.
Mallaig was only a couple of miles away and there was a boat doing free sailings until the 31st March which we recommend. The dog also had a great holiday running around the beautiful beaches and in and out the water.
The views of this hotel are incredible, they are happy to accommodate pet friendly tables for breakfast / dinner, however you have to ensure that this is booked within plenty time. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and worked really hard to ensure that our stay was great. The food was really tasty, big portions! You can walk down the steps to a little beach, or head over to Mallaig, which has a few options for cafes / restaurants. We will come back again hopefully soon as we had a great time!
This was our second time staying at the Morar Hotel and loved it so much last year we decided to visit again for the last leg of this years trip from the Isle of Skye camping. Staff are very welcoming and really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the view overlooking the silver sands was just incredible. Food was delicious and prices reasonable Would 100% recommend if visiting Morar, you need to spend a night here. Our dog absolutely loved it too! Will definitely be back next year!
Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.
Staff most welcoming to this comfortable hotel; high standards of cleanliness, fresh decor & furnishings. Both Akram & Trenton endeavoured to make our short stay memorable. Offering assistance willingly. Thank you to them both. Views from the hotel are spectacular. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meals: evening dinner & breakfast.
Lovely location, sufficient parking and is located across from the little station where the Jacobite aka Hogwarts Express.stops - qiute a bonus
Lovely buffet breakfast on offer. Dinner at hotel was a little pricey but great food. Lovely and helpful reataurant staff.
Good location across from Silver Sands of Morar. The single room was small but I knew it would be. Adequate space for a solo traveler. Good number of outlets and placed well in the room. Nice restaurant and staff. Good free parking.
The only dog friendly place available on the night we just had to pass through Mallaig.
Friendly staff!!
Near Beach and railway station.
Looks like it has some history.
Wonderful beach views.
The hotel is located on a beautiful loch with mountains surrounding it. Truly an astonishing view. So serene and peaceful. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and nice.
