Loved my stay here. I arrived Friday evening and was kindly given a pot of tea and some shortbread. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable! I was up and out early on the Saturday, but the host very kindly left out some cereal and fruit for me. I had an amazing poached eggs on toast for breakfast on Sunday. Beautifully located and lovely host!

Woodbury Court is a lovely unit in a beautiful little village. It is in a great location for travelling out to places like the Durdle Door, Kimmerage Bay and Corfe Castle. The village shop is well stocked and the staff are very friendly and helpful. With two pubs in easy walking distance (one opposite the door!), what more could you want?
Situated just 10 minutes' drive from both the Tank Museum and Monkey World in Bovington, The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast offers free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking.
Lovely conservation village with thatched cottages.
Lovely conservation village with thatched cottages. Very quiet, only pub doesn’t serve evening meals. Lovely farm shop where you sit at wooden tables in the woodland area. Live music sometimes put on. Meal choice very limited but fab. Staff are great.
If you like animals a visit to Monkey World is a must, only 20 minutes drive away. Fab day out! Highlight of the trip!

The parallel road to the lodge is postcard picture perfect with thatched cottages etc.
If you go to Swanage for the day avail yourself of the steam train from (the park and ride £ 3.50 all day parking) Norden and arrive in style! The route will take you past Corfe Castle and is a relaxing and lovely way to travel. There is parking in Swanage but it is expensive so the train tickets and all day parking at Norden become good value.
Avoid the chain ferry at Swanage/Sandbanks it is a super short trip, you can queue for an hour easily and your are confined to your car for the crossing - nothing to se
There are plenty of 'cove' walks along the coast line and it is good to plan your route before you start. If self catering there not too many local stores around as this is a rural area so remember Blandford (6 miles away) is your nearest major supermarket.
However despite my do's and dont's i would return in a heart beat as this is a truly wonderful part of the South

Lovely little holiday cottages on a farm, donkeys, llamas, chickens and sheep all visited during our stay. Cottage was well equipped for self catering but also a short but scenic walk to the local pub. Heated swimming pool was a great sunday morning activity. Milton Abbas is a very small village but the peace and quiet was just what we wanted. Village farm shop also amazing!

Milton Abbas is a very clean and beautiful area although Forever cottage is more than 1.6 miles to the nearest pub,try the Milton Arms pub. Make sure you go to Shaftesbury and see the Hovis street and the museum in fact just go for a drive and end up in any of the villages
Comfortable well appointed accommodation set in the quiet village of Milton Abbas. All the comforts of home and a comy bed. Jenny was a great host and made my stay very relaxing. Bonus was fresh milk, bread, eggs tea coffee etc already provided. WiFi was great and needed to be to allow for video calling as there is no phone signal in the village. Maybe not a bad thing if you want to relax. Highly recommended.
Huge selection we tried all of them and every one fantastic.
Location peaceful and Milton Abbas is a beautiful historic village lined by thatched cottages.
