We stayed here during a cycling trip along the Coast and Castles route. The hotel is perfectly situated for this purpose as indeed it is for the new Scottish Coast to Coast route. From arrival, the staff could not have been more helpful. Drying facilities were offered to wet cyclists. Bikes were safely stored under cover (a new outdoor cycle store with Ebike charging is planned). The evening meal in the restaurant was absolutely superb and the breakfast options were again excellent. The highlight of our bike tour!!

Hotel was clean and lovely decorated with character, easy to let yourself in and out of the main building. Bed was fairly comfy and room size was good. Beech room had a big wardrobe as well. Good location, some on road parking outside but restrictions during the day.

The staff were brilliant. Very helpful even though they were busy in the bar and restaurant. The location is great.

Really lovely stay, fab service from Brooke and her colleague, and a great room. Even with 12 milks made available. It's the little things like that, which makes a difference. I'll be back!
