Convenient to town and more character than run of the mill places. Happy to cook a meal even though I was the only one eating. It was very good.

From arrival to departure everything was superb. Louise is a 'tour-de-force'! Her attention to detail is second to none from the stunning, luxurious decor and amenities to the fantastic home- cooked evening meal and scrumptious breakfast. Greg also went out of his way to make this a five-star stay!

Our stay far exceeded our expectations. The ensuite bedroom was exceptionally clean with beautiful rural views. There was the most extensive choice of hot drinks in the room including at least 7 types of tea. Breakfast in the morning was truly excellent with fresh fruit, two types of fruit juice, granola, yoghurts, porridge, fresh coffee or tea, warm pastries, toast and preserves. Fiona went out of her way to accommodate my husband's vegan diet, even providing him with coconut milk yoghurt (which is more than he gets at home!).

Ambiance and whole stay experience were way above expected. From the phone call asking me if I’d like to book for dinner in their, what turns out to be, exceptional restaurant to the friendly and attentive staff, rooms styled so well and quality oozing out of every stitch of their fly fishing pedigree

We have relatives nearby which we were visiting hence our stay. Launceston is good in parts, not many pubs served food bit it was awash wit takeaways. Not suitable for anyone with limited mobility as the town has steep hills. Tesco etc has killed all the small independents which used to be in the town

Good pubs, Red Lion in Trewint a must. Lovely town centre in Bude, can drive to Davidstowe and Boscastle, amongst other places. Heaps to do, stunning countryside for walks, definitely chocolate box. Breathtaking coastline. It's wonderful to have both countryside and coastline on offer 😁

Typical Cornish town, recommend Francine’s fish and chips for fast efficient service with a smile.
The roads are narrow and it can get congested in a car but if you’re on holiday patience is key, enjoy

We were a 20 minute drive from Launceston in beautiful countryside. We used Launceston for self catering shopping. There is a castle, church and narrow gauge steam railway,
Launceston is well placed. For the A30 for day trips to the many wonderful attractions along the coast.

A very run down little town , but beautiful surrounding areas such as crackington , Bude & Padstow definitely all worth a visit .Fantastic pub & resturant /cafe in Crackington right on the beach front excellent food & service .
The location was amazing with views over the moor. The garden was ideal for our elderly dog to wander about safely. It was so lovely and quiet with no light pollution so lots of stars on a clear night. The cottage was bigger than expected and really cosy, a home from home. We live in cornwall, but not in a magical part like Bodmin moor, we would definitely book bowithick cottages again, we love it there. We even booked an extra night at the end of our stay and the owners were very accommodating. Beautiful, mystical place….highly recommend! x
From a distance the hotel looks good. The bar area containing the still is a nice space, although noisy due to the rooms acoustics and a group of happy drinkers. The bedroom on the top floor looks nice, is a good size and is well equipped. The shower room is unusual with a bit of a Wow factor. All the staff were nice. There were quite a few locals drinking in the bar, which must be a good sign. The evening meal was very nice.
We have stayed at the hotel before as it is a great spot for visiting nearby family. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. We went to the leisure farm whilst here this time which was great. Lots to do for the kids with crazy golf, dodgems, peddle boats, karting, animal petting and massive indoor and outdoor play areas. Breakfast is a good buffet and the food in the restaurant is lovely.
Loved the location and was very well set up by the owners from a private caravan site for only about 7 to tastefully decorated rooms in the house, which were very comfortable and a decent size. We were made very welcome and the breakfast choice was superb. Would definitely return again.
Absolutely great place that I would highly recommend for short or long stay. Place is beatuful, area is amazing, host superb. Most wondering was hosts attention to details. I haven't seen something like this for a long time. Thank you for a great time we spent in this lodge.
The accommodation was fantastic, very clean and in a brilliant location to explore the different areas of Cornwall. Barbara was very friendly and welcoming, not to mention she cooks a fab breakfast! We look forward to visiting again in the near future.
The location was beautiful, marvellous views, the breakfast was gorgeous. Paula and Mark were the perfect hosts. I cant thank them enough for making our holiday to Cornwall, to meet up with family, perfect. Would highly recommend ❤️
The hosts were great, it was easy to contact them & gain access to the apartment. It was bright, clean & comfy, plus it is in a good location to enjoy a weekend away in North Cornwall, it was perfect for us & our daughter.
Friendly and helpful host, made us feel very welcome.
Comfortable accomodation.
Lovely rural location, very peaceful. Central location so it's close to lots of places in Cornwall, which were easy to travel to by car.
Traveller's Rest is an excellent place in the beautiful Bodmin Moor. Andy was a wonderful and kind host and I really enjoyed my stay. The area is superb for cycling and walking. A perfect holiday.
My hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Everything was spotlessly clean .
Lovely county location ,but only 10 minutes from Launceston.
This was my second stay , I will be back
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Facilities in hotel were also very good. Food was excellent. Would not to hesitate to recommend this place.
Lovely kitchen. Nice decor. Comfy beds. Great communication and a lovely welcome cake, tea and coffee. Would recommend. It was a great stopover for us on our way through to Cornwall.
