Property is excellent with all facilities you need for a long weekend or longer. Appreciated the very sunny courtyard to eat outside. Even has washing line in the sun! Parking immediately outside the front door. Well located to visit all areas of Suffolk on your doorstep. And a superb pub for evening dinner 20 mins walk away. Hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Easy to find, good parking area available, good greeting and friendly staff, restaurant was closed when I arrived at 7pm, breakfast at £15 was a tad expensive I thought, I was the only resident staying on Sunday evening.
Midway between Southwold and Aldeburgh, this modernised, rustic inn has an excellent restaurant and refurbished, stylish rooms. It is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

I was visiting RSPB Minsmere so I needed a place to stay close to the reserve. I couldn't have chosen better. The hosts, Alistair and Ruth were so welcoming I felt instantly at home. The room was very cosy and comfortable, with a relaxing feel to it. If I ever go back to that area, I will definitely book with them again. It was lovely.

Great accommodation, clean and modern. Excellent location for exploring Aldeburgh, Southwold, and everywhere in between. Sandra and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The Poacher's Pocket pub in Saxmundham is definitely worth a visit as is Orford Ness nature reserve. A great first trip to Suffolk!

Kelsale is near Saxmundham which has a Waitrose and a Tesco so very handy for shopping. Kelsale is very convenient for the Suffolk coast - we visited Lowestoft, Dunwich, Orford, Southwold and Aldeburgh. Favourite spots were Minsmere and Orford. Favourite meals were eaten in Orford and Southwold.

Very pretty and I’m sure it is normally pretty quiet (we had diggers going past all week due to building somewhere)
Seemed very central for beaches and countryside and lots of history nearby.
Social club had free WiFi you could use.
