Not giving 10 because we were woken by fire alarm at 1.15am and no member of staff was evident to guide us so we all trundled back to bed out of the cold when it went off.

The owners, Marion and Moray, gave us a very warm welcome. They are very lovely 'can-do' people. The wee dram that you can pour yourself (on the house!) when you arrive is a wonderful touch. If you're lucky, you might see a pine marten in the garden! Breakfast was delicious, served with warm smiles - a lovely start to the day!

Fabulous little compact apartment, clean and comfortable. Homemade bread and jam there with tea, coffee, fresh milk and cereals. The views ( including the Northern Lights) were fantastic, easy access to the waterfalls and fabulous walks. We were travelling via the ferry the following morning so easy access to Uig. Wish we could have stayed longer
