Good location. Room very clean & serviced well. Breakfast choice was good but when it was a buffet style it could have been warmer. We did have a mix up with the booking but the manager & reception staff were very good & everything was quickly sorted.

The property was spotlessly clean. The check in clerk was very friendly and gave us lots of information about where to eat in the local area. We had a suite upstairs and a sea view (breathtaking) and there was lots of information at hand in the room for places to visit/eat. We ate in the local Indian restaurant and had drinks at the stack, followed by a beach walk next morning. The bed was super comfortable and this was hands down the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in, in the north east.

A nice compact little centre within the metro-area of Tyne and Wear, not much to see and do within Jarrow but easy to get to South Shields beaches and good road links to go further.
Some nice Viking sculpture and a few pretty buildings. I wasn’t about for long but it felt safe. A decent location to explore the wider area within the great north east.
