The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is 4 star, however the staff there are a lot better than some of the 5 star hotels. I would like to specially thank Cameron, with his very professional and warm manner for serving.

The room was very spacious, there was scaffolding work around the building but we still had a lovely view of the Abbey through the scaffold. Space was very clean and had everything we needed.

It was a very peaceful stay in a beautiful area, just on the edge of Dartmoor. The beds were soft and they offered oat milk for the room. Would definitely return!

Well situated, plenty of car parking. Large bedroom & en-suite. In need of some tlc but no complaints as was clean & had everything we needed. Loved the ornate mirror over the mantelpiece. Appreciated the fresh milk & cold water, a nice touch. Very quiet so able to sleep well. Staff were all really friendly & welcoming and our breakfast server Primrose was lovely, so cheerful & helpful.

Positioned on the northern bank of the River Teign, the Passage House Hotel is less than 1 mile from Newton Abbot Racecourse.

I loved the large bedroom, tastefully decorated, and the huge comfortable bed. The view across the forest to the moors was wonderful. I liked the excellent breakfast and pub for drinks and delicious dinner.

Excellent communication from Catherine and great advice on directions and recommendations for Sunday lunch (The Cott Inn- amazing meal) and local walks. Made to feel very welcome. The Old Pottery is in a very rural area surrounded by fields and all you can hear if the sound of the birds. We only stayed two nights but the place was equipped as home from home. Dog friendly which is a bonus.
