We were made very welcome at The Bonnie Badger by all the staff who were very friendly. The room was beautifully clean - gorgeous bath! We travelled with our dog and she was also made very welcome - a bed and bowl were provided. We were absolutely delighted that Maisie was also welcome in the Stable Restaurant as we had thought we may only be able to eat in the Bar area. The food was exquisite for both of our evening meals - the breakfast was high quality. It was lovely to have the jars with the fresh fruit and the special apple, yoghurt and home-made granola - this all made such a welcome change to the usual breakfast buffet approach of other hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - whilst it was busy, we still felt it was peaceful and private. Thank you to everyone at the Bonnie Badger.

3rd stay in Gullane love the location beach is amazing, plenty shops to stock up if self catering. Chip shop is amazing and had meal at Bonnie Badger can’t recommend enough, Grace of India in Aberlady didn’t disappoint with our curry night, you get what you pay for with them all not the cheapest but definitely the best we’ve had. Close to plenty of places to visit, Archerfield Walled Garden well worth the walk or drive, our first time. Gullane is close to small railway stations for ease of visiting Edinburgh and North Berwick, buses also on high street. Golfers paradise but we don’t golf but still perfect either way. So plenty walks, great food, doorstep shops and cafes, public transport if needed whats not to like

Nice food and drink at The old Clubhouse and Italian.
Goose on the green and Cherish for coffee & cakes.
A trip into North Berwick which has lovely individual shops.
The watchman was a stunning spot with lovely views of the sunset over Gullane golf courses. Plenty of great food nearby and in the hotel restaurant - the old clubhouse along the road was also yummy. The staff were very helpful when I was departing at 0610 in the morning, making sure the chefs could do something early for me to fuel me for my day! Overall the experience was positive and I hope I can visit again someday when I have more time to enjoy everything.
Lovely apartment with everything we needed, and things we didn’t know we needed, to make our stay enjoyable. There are several places to eat within easy walking distance and some nice shops in the village. We were in the area to play golf but there are lots of other things to do nearby if golf isn’t your thing. The secure garden was an unexpected bonus especially on sunny days.
The flat is well located- close to the small Gullane town centre, the excellent local eateries, shop and pubs. it is also possible to walk to Gullane Bents(the beach) by a short walk.
Gullane is well located to visit nearby tourist spots. The local bus can take you to Dirleton, with its Castle and the larger popular resort of North Berwick with its many attractions, and shops.
A beautiful modern renovation of the historic hotel and restaurant right in the centre of Gullane. All room amenities were of the highest quality with nice little "extras" such as the tea and cookies delivered to the door before bedtime. Breakfast was outstanding - high quality and with a wide selection of entrees on offer.
Perfectly situated cottage in heart of Gullane. Close to beach, pubs and restaurants. Really appreciated it being dog friendly too for the beach and coastal walks nearby. A real home from home.
Small flat ideal for 2 people within easy reach of Gullane centre which has a good range of amenities and is close to a lovely beach. Well fitted kitchen/living room. Good modern bathroom.
beautiful iconic hotel in Scotland’s golf coast.
small comfy rooms ideal for overnight stay on a boys golf trip. also has fabulous gardens and beautiful views over Muirfield golf links
The cottage is in a great location in the centre of Gullane, near to pubs, restaurants & golf. Nice layout and comfortable enough with a well equipped kitchen & courtyard garden.
Self catering was ideal for us. The location of the property is perfect for access to Gullane facilities and golf. We will certainly be looking to return in due course.
Location was excellent as i played golf at Muirfield that day. Great view of golf course from my caddie closet room!
Breakfast was good with timely service
Breakfast options were ok. Breakfast itself was nice. Room was comfortable. Location of hotel is stunning and surrounding gardens are lovely to walk through.
