Spa was lovely, the rooms had amazing facilities and loved the fact you had water machine and milk on the floors so we didnt have to walk far or bother anyone.

Having read some poor reviews just before the stay I was concerned but I needn’t have been. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. All in all very good.

This traditional 17th-century Cumbrian inn is set in the Eden Valley, between the old market towns of Appleby and Penrith.
