A very good traditional hotel serving a good breakfast. Staff were very helpful- the bed had a (lovely) goosedown duvet, but I am allergic to feathers. A replacement was found very quickly and without fuss. This doesn't happen everywhere! Also very good book-in, the receptionist found our details and gave us the keys very quickly-again this doesn't always happen.
There are pleasant walks down to the river and around the town centre.

Super surprise treats n breakfast basket made up for us was real nice touch ,
Location next to to pub their meals were nice I. there .People n staff friendly . The double bed was super comfortable we slept really well .
