The location is magnificent and just what we wanted for our stay in Robin Hoods Bay. Staff were friendly. The room was comfortable enough for a nights stopover. It was only a short walk to the bay and to the car park where it is reasonably priced to park for 24 hours.

The Angel Hotel Wetherspoon, hotel in Fylingthorpe

Situated 10 minutes' walk from the main beach, The Angel Hotel offers accommodation in historic Whitby on the Yorkshire coast.

Our room was lovely but when I emailed before our stay I was told we had a partial harbour view room.. we arrived to a room at the side of the hotel looking onto a wall. The door outside our room banged thru the night with people going along the corridor so we didn’t get a lot of sleep

I would highly recommend a stay in this YHA.

I would highly recommend a stay in this YHA. The surrounding area is stunning. Lots to see and do if you like walking, fossiling, painting, playing by the sea. A short walk to Robin Hood's Bay on a low tide is a must. To wander and play.

Wow! What a great place just superb!.. Like being at home for a long weekend and made to feel so welcome. Everything and I mean everything you'd want from a stay away. We left it as spotless as we found it. Will definitely be back when our schedule allows.

We liked the solitude and abundance of walks available.

We liked the solitude and abundance of walks available. This location is suitable for active walkers and hikers but could be challenging for family's with young children. The fylingthorpe inn provides a good menu at reasonable prices and the delights of Robin Hoods bay is close by

Perfect place to take the kids. We have been a few times now and doesn’t disappoint. clean accommodation, fab themed cafe with cosy wood burner. friendly helpful staff and good food and drink. It’s a youth hostel and not a five star hotel but this is a fab youth hostel.

This is a hidden gem. A hotel that sits on the beach but away from everything else. You are hidden away from everything, but it’s still bustling. Such a lovely magical feel to it. Cake is amazing.
