Food was lovely, staff where great and friendly. Room was clean and spacious but no AC and very hot. Parking was good, location excellent.

Fantastic staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. It was my daughter’s birthday, which they I’d briefly mentioned when booking, and they put balloons in our room and at our table at dinner. The food was delicious.

Beautiful location, central to Southwell, Newark and only half an hour from Nottingham and Sherwood Forest. So much history and character - a truly exceptional short break with something for the whole family.
Lots of historical trails to enjoy, walks and cruises on the river Trent. The workhouse and its staff proved a memorable afternoon.
Property very good and well maintained.
Beds comfortable and duvets very cosy.
Gr. floor shower not great; water mixing poor, going from freezing to scalding.
Small point : salt & pepper in kitchen would have been nice.
Otherwise a very good accommodation.
Can't comment on Fiskerton itself as stay was to attend a wedding in nearby Southwell
