Beautiful cottage in a lovely secluded location. Well fitted out with great little additions like dressing gowns, lovely hand creams and the fire was perfect after very cold , rainy walks across the Dales! The children especially loved Percy the peacock who seemed to love our small porch 😃

We had afternoon tea with Prosecco - it was really enjoyable and not rushed. Location is excellent - just a short walk into town. In fact it is just opposite the station so very handy for travel. Car park gets busy so get there early!
Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and freshly cooked.
Evening meal was good too - good choice and excellent service.

We liked the outstanding location overlooking the fells and in walking distance to the small village centre of Burnsall and to walking in Wharfedale. The friendly and professional service from all members of staff was excellent and appreciated.

There is not really a lot in Embsay itself but it is a good base to travel around the Yorkshire country side. There is a very good pub in the village which does lovely food but one of our party was Vegan and they didn't have a Vegan choice.
