Hotel staff, particularly Ella, were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was good. The hotel itself is full of character and charm.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was superb, fantastic choice.
Full English was cooked to order and produce used was fresh and local.
The location was on a main road, but could not hear any traffic. The local pub was a short walk down the road.

Lovely small hamlet, if you like walking, you can easily take various routes into Avebury and avoid car parking charges (need walking boots as some trails can be muddy at times) , a variety of rural pubs dotted around the area too.
