Homemade bread and their own eggs - great!
We enjoyed walking around the property and visiting with the hosts. They kindly allowed us to leave our car there when friends picked us up for a hike.

Rob and Sherry are great hosts. They looked after us really well. The breakfast served was very fresh and mostly from the farm ingredients. They also had good options for vegetarian breakfast.

The location was perfect. Close to the Brecon Beacons close to the Gower coast snd just 5 mins from the M4. The back garden views were just like the photos. Very peaceful and cathartic to be so close to the river. The park to walk the dog was less than 100m from the front door with a MUGA was excellent for teenage boys for a kick about with Dad. We loved the idea of extra throws for the sofas for dogs, for those of us indulgent enough to let our dogs jump up!

The cottage is not actually in Cross Hands, but nearby Tumble. An ex miners cottage which has been superbly refurbished and beautifully equipped. My canine companion and myself had a fantastic 3 day stay. Immediately outside the back door is a huge dog friendly field. Within 10 minutes walk there is woodland.Within 30 minutes drive is a world class beach at Pembrey . There is much to explore locally and it's a pleasure to come back to the accomodation which has everything you need. If you are a light sleeper. I am. You may find the traffic noise at night disruptive. So bring earplugs or move to the rear bedroom. It has bunks, but worked for me. In summary, Cara and myself had a great time and hope to return again soon!

We found everything about the accommodation and hosts to be top class. Nothing was too much for them and they were so friendly.
Helen and Steve are just the sort of caring hosts you want when staying somewhere. They especially made a fuss of our dog which was the most important thing to us.

Fabulous place-Helen & Steve are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts are the best
i've had in 40 years of visiting this lovely country. Big room, excellent en-suite and pretty garden to relax in. Candy & Ffion the dogs, are just adorable. We did the National Botanic Gardens (15 mins up the road) and The Gower (40 mins away), and can say that Beudy Bachs Is THE best place to base yourself at for a break in the wonderful Carmarthenshire countryside. Would definitely come again, if only for one of Helen's Breakfasts.
