Staff lovely, room nice breakfast good. Restaurant mediocre.

Staff lovely, room nice breakfast good. Restaurant mediocre. Access to Accessible room was through a lit of doors and some difficult to negotiate which is hard for someone with disabilities. . This hotel is under refurbishment so access to patio gardens etc not available. Was not given this information at time of booking. Blood stained duvet.

The room was large, comfy, a fridge.

The room was large, comfy, a fridge. Comfortable bed , large tv,. Breakfast average, poor value and I have a wheat allergy which the waitress didn't understand really. Evening meal was fairly good, little expensive for what it was. Good side dining room restaurant was very quiet evening and morning

    Worst service ever.

Worst service ever. No table available for evening meal, room was freezing cold, one small heater in bedroom was off on arrival and took ages to warm up. No heating in bathrooms whatsoever, staff fed us a load of bu#@$hit and did not deliver what they promised. Would never stay again.

The hotel is alright, rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. The price is misleading, because you'll probably will go there by car, and you'll have to pay the parking. And breakfast is highly overpriced for what it is. They have a policy from the lockdown times to NOT TO CLEAN THE ROOMS! So they save money on cleaning staff, but if you go to Reception and you ask them to clean your room or, at least to take the rubbish from the bins, you'll be asked to put it in a bag and leave it at the door! So do not expect any extra effort on the customer service side. Is a take it or leave it. A pity that nice facilities are so badly managed!

The car park is open to a public park and looks shabby on arrival. The reception area is nice and the bar pleasant. My room was large but the bathroom was dated, no pressure in the above bath shower head. Struggled to get hot water from sink to shave so reverted to boiling the kettle.

0 only if you are having walking difficult it's a lot of walking to do around the hotel lets you have your own scooter or or wheelchair quite big great place to stay but there again I think it's on the expensive side if you have to watch your budget it's so think you have to take him mind because as you can see booking.com hotels overpriced and I think now I just making money out of people because people don't want to go away and has the hassle so if you think about it isn't fair to us

Staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. I called the hotel to ensure that I could have a ground floor room if possible with easy access for my mom. This was confirmed by the friendly and informative receptionist. Check in was easy and the room was very clean, well ventilated and well stocked. Breakfast was socially distanced and the process was explained by the staff. All in all we had a great stay and will certainly be booking here again.

Stunning venue, we were upgraded to the bridal suite for no extra charge- unbelievable room! Lovely meal at night and breakfast in the morning. Some comments stated that it was noisy as near the motorway - we had no problems at all with noise and I am a light sleeper! Grounds were stunning and the town of bromsgrove also pleasant for shopping the next day. You can tell it would be a stunning wedding venue.

Great place to stay - beautiful old hotel with loads of character but very comfortable. Near motorway but you can hardly hear it.We slept very well. Friendly helpful staff and very good food. We had dinner as well as breakfast. Both were excellent. It also has lovely grounds that guests can walk around. Very good value - you could spend as much or more for a bland chain hotel.

the hotel is tired looking and in need of some tlc - smelt of mould in the corridors - bins over flowing and inn need of emptying . on the front entrance there was weeds and just looked untidy and then to top it off we couldn’t go swimming because it was shut so overall was not what I was expecting from holiday inn standards

It is a no frills establishment but the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and value for money it was excellent. Lots of lovely pubs, coffee shops and restaurants within close walking distance. Free On-site parking was a bonus

The restaurant was nice and there was a good selection of food to choose from. The staff who were involved in organising and working during my sisters wedding (2nd September) are an asset to the hotel, especially Seran who was very organised and attentive.

    1. The reception staff and bar man were really helpful and friendly. 2. Really accepting of our small dog Stan with plenty of places he could go in the hotel. They also set up a table for us in the reception area so we could eat breakfast with Stan.

Did not have breakfast. Very handy location near station, if rather a long walk from official town centre. Room quiet, clean and comfortable, with unexpectedly pleasant view of sheep grazing on wooded hillside. Clean and spacious bathroom.

Location was fine, about a mile from the centre of Bromsgrove, but a pleasant walk. Staff were all excellent, very helpful and our rooms were opposite each other as requested. Amble car parking, a good lift but not too many stairs.
