Returning guest which says it all. This is a spotlessly clean, well decorated hotel with a lovely ambiance which is in no small part down to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They genuinely want you to have a great stay and nothing seems too much trouble.

Room was a little more compact than we'd hoped, but comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We dined in the restuarant one night. The food was very good, but we felt the menu choices were a bit limited. The location on the high street was great if you wanted to wander around Lyndhurst.

Everything 😊 We needed a break away from a stressful few months & this hotel ticked all the boxes.
Friendly staff the moment you arrive -homely dog friendly room & spotlessly clean .
Fabulous food both breakfast & dinner & so relaxing in the bar with our dog.
Walks straight from the door into the forest & water hose outside to wash down the dog .
Covid precautions in place too making you feel safe .
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was nice, too. The best thing was the location of the hotel, it is almost in the forest. This was our first time visiting the New Forest area and we're looking forward to having another trip there. Our room was facing the forest so it was very quiet.
The best thing was the location, walking through the garden gate straight into a lovely part of the forest with wide stretches of parkland and big oaks.
The hotel was comfortable, the food was good and everyone was helpful. Good choice of breakfasts. Great outdoor seating area.
Room was to our liking with a very nice bath. The hotel is dog friendly and the location is excellent for walks out into the New Forest. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Beautiful location, tranquil setting. Lots of lovely walks nearby. You can walk right out of the hotel garden into to new forest. The hotel is a very picturesque old building.
The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a rural location and was very peaceful - no traffic noise.
