Location was ideal and we had a good experience with the staff - the young lady was very good, in checking us in she was attentive and thorough, and careful to check our expectations of the amenities. She had a natural talent for hospitality.

We stopped in the suit it was comfy clean and spacious. The breakfast is continental and fridges are stocked with fresh produce daily. There is different types of teas and coffee, orange juice, apple juice, and milk and I even noticed oat milk in the fridge this morning. There are fresh yoghurts fruit, ham and cheese and a selection of bread. The staff aimed to please and they did with their kindness and accommodating manner.
Good location to explore the south lakes and Furness...
Good location to explore the south lakes and Furness peninsula. it’s a pretty little village very close to the beach. There is a Buddhist temple and visitors centre down the road which is very beautiful and well worth a visit. Short trip into Ulverston. About 20 minutes by car to Coniston.

Bardsea is a lovely village and beautiful unspoilt coastline. It’s lovely for fresh air, long walks with breathtaking views all around. There are lots of places of interest to visit, nearby.
Perhaps it is a little too quiet for some people.
We really enjoyed visiting Furness abbey, Walney island and roan head beach.
There is a really good selection of pubs and resteraunts in Ulverston, and some lovely little shops.
