It is a small town with not many facilities or shops - but...
It is a small town with not many facilities or shops - but plenty in nearby towns. Has a lovely walk along the lake side, about 5 miles of wildlife sanctuary. Main town of Derry/Londonderry is close and has a great 1 mile walk around the city walls with lots of information.

We attended a wedding nearby at Drenagh country house.
We attended a wedding nearby at Drenagh country house. Lovely countryside and surroundings. 30 mins drive to Portstewart Harbour and beach for a lovely long walk too! Highly recommend the area as very picturesque.

The bedrooms had either been very recently renovated, very well maintained or both. the room was completely spotless and all in room facilities were in excellent condition. The price was very low and my expectations were low as a result - however, the rooms were warm, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hotel also provide a free cooked breakfast along with a continental breakfast (fruit, toast, pancakes, juice etc). Locals in the area were also very friendly, we would highly recommend this hotel (very nice chipper just down the road as well some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten!)LiamIreland
