Situated in the heart of Arundel, this grade II listed Victorian building was completely refurbished in May 2012 to combine traditional comforts with the facilities of a modern 4-star hotel.

House Arundel is really central in the town but really quiet in the evening
My room was beautifully decorated and the bed incredibly comfortable. Lovely clean, contemporary bathroom with super plush towels.
Teas and coffee in the room with an honesty bar downstairs.
The owners are super-friendly and helpful too.
A wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were wonderfully soft. The only small thing we thought would be useful was a mirror in each bedroom.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Arundel is a lovely quiant town, it has an impressive castle & cathedral. It has lots of bars, restaurants & boutique shops. It is small enough to walk around but has plenty to do.
It is in easy reach of Littlehampton, Chichester & Brighton by car.

Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes.
Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes. The best breakfast is at The Moathouse just across the bridge. You can walk along Mill Lane to visit Swanbourne Lake, which is free, or the Wildfowl & Wetlands centre. That is free for WWT members but well worth the entry fee if not. A bit further on is The Black Rabbit pub, where you can have a great meal by the river.

Arundel is a really quaint place with a good selection of small shops, pubs and eateries. Juniper's coffee shop & bakery is a must visit. The cinnamon buns are to die for. The Italian restaurant La Campania we highly recommend and the Norfolk Arms a great place to relax and chill. The local architecture and the walk along pass the museum and to the wet land centre really interesting & lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Arundel is a beautiful and very charming village with lots to see and do. A visit to the castle is a must as is a wandrr through the quaint shops in the main stteet (and off to the side). The food on offer in the restaurants was fabulous. We had dinner at The Swan The Parson's Table and the Black Rabbit.
Arundel is a great place to do a walk through the South Downs.

The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept"...
The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept" birds and wild native ones. I prefer wild ones and the woodland and reed walks were good with some hides not under repair though the wild birds did not turn up in quantities nor with abundant variety of species.
The castle is fascinating ( a golf buggy will save a lot of uphill walking if used). The medieval "palace" was knocked down in the Commonwealth regime and only rebuilt in phases over the 197th and Twentieth centuries ( the gardens were opened after 2000). The Keep remains and is sufficiently whole to allow one to envisage the ancient reality. The Fitzalan Chapel in the grounds is definitely a place to visit. Nearly 20 generations of Fitzalan and Howard leaders are buried and remembered in the chapel providing much light onto English history.
The town is mall and old and worth a walk round.
Everything was wonderful! Debora is such a great host and the house could not have been more perfect! The décor is quite lovely and everything was spotless, very comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen with easy access to back garden was wonderful and the pantry with goodies of all kinds and an honesty box is such a nice idea! Easy walk into the town center, the cathedral, castle, museum, pubs and restaurants. We can't wait to go back!
Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady at breakfast, and the breakfast itself was great. We weren't expecting the rooms to be so good, the only ones left were 'Small' and 'Cosy,' but both were absolutely fine for two people and had great amenities - lovely coffee, nice toiletries, and delicious chocolates. We are hoping to visit Arundel again nearer Christmas, and will certainly stay here agian.
A lovely 'old fashioned' hotel! The hotel is superbly located in Arundel, serves fabulous food, superb beer, and has the most wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. The breakfast menu was especially noteworthy, with the full 'English' being one of the best we've eaten. The hotel is perfectly located to explore Arundal itself without needing a car, and also makes a great 'base' from which to explore the beautiful West Sussex.
This place is lovely and highly recommended. Judith made us all very welcome. The hotel is right in the middle of the beautiful town of Arundel, right next to the Castle. The room was excellent. Continental breakfasts can sometime be disappointing - but not in this case. Also, the selections of cheese, meats and wine we had in the evenings was just superb. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be back.
Great place, amazing location in the center of Arundel so easy to walk to restaurants and shops, and very serene & peaceful on the river. The Sail Loft was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming and had everything we need including free private parking which was a huge bonus. Jane was a wonderful host, with great communication Would definitely stay again. 5 Stars!!!
Excellent little hotel in the perfect location to see and get around Arundel. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast was great and cocktails were a great way to finish off an evening. The room was really comfy with the best view overlooking the castle and down Arundel High Street. Would really recommend staying here and look forward to another visit
Delicious breakfast; very comfortable rooms; privacy as there is a separate entrance to the B&B with interconnecting door to the main house; proximity to Arundel and very friendly and helpful hostess, Alison. I stupidly left some items in the wardrobe and Alison texted to ask if we were still nearby and, if not, offered to parcel post them to me.
The location was ideal for Goodwood Revival and there were several restaurants nearby for dinner. La Campania was excellent. The Black Rabbit, The Swan Hotel and the Chinese restaurant were average.
The kitchen was well equipped, but we had no need to use it except for morning tea as we were out all day every day.
Excellent location, great room with large comfy bed, on-site parking (reserve in advance). Lucie and Iain (the owners) were very friendly and cooked a great breakfast. Excellent value for money and more of hotel quality than a B&B, highly recommended and will certainly stay there again if going to Arundel.
The staff were just lovely and couldn't do enough for us.It was nice just to be on the ground floor. It was walking distance to Arundel. The breakfast was grand. We also had use of their iron and ironing board. The hotel stored our luggage upon arrival as we were early and again before we left.
did not have breakfast
location thats why we went to walk round but it was all blocked off due to filming
getting into the hotel was told by security staff you have to go all the way round got there then was told no go back to where you where no one knew what they was doing.
Location really good for what we wanted and within easy reach of Arundel. Good facilities, convenient, clean and great value. Nicely decorated and modern. Couldn't ask for more and the owner was on hand if you needed anything. Will return and this is our second visit
Very welcoming and comfortable hotel located on edge of Arundel adjacent to Railway station. This provides an easy walk into town and good communications to nearby attractions.
Nice rooms and excellent breakfast. Free parking is useful.
Everything was superior, but Yvonne made it all fun! Breakfast was outstanding, the room was exquisite (could use maybe a little dresser, though - there is no place to put your stuff so it gets spread out all over the place!
The apartment was lovely, beautifully decorated and clean! Absolutely perfect location for walking into Arundel. The owner even recommended a lovely place for breakfast. It was a truly lovely place to stay.
