Although, the building is tired it has wonderful character. The staff are amazing, can't do enough to help. Breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful food from in house Thai restaurant. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

The cottage was perfect for our one night stay. My mum & Dad have limited mobility & it was perfect being on one level with a rail in the big walk in shower.

We had family in Amesbury to visit so perfect for us and still handy to Salisbury and bus to London. My brother liked the pubs and the bakery was very good. You would need a car to explore surrounding area though and there was plenty to see

Access to Stonehenge was so quick and easy.
Access to Stonehenge was so quick and easy. We could have spent another day exploring the area (other ancient forts and circles) and trying other places to eat in the town. There were 3 grocery stores - a great place to replenish your supplies. The bakery in town is first rate!!

Absolutely disappointing!!!!
Absolutely disappointing!!!! room a sham of broken furniture, stained seating chair, curtain rail that fell on you drawing curtains.... too much limescale on shower taps. Shower curtain dirty, skirting boards never been touched for months and NO CHEF!!!!!! after a 6 hr journey all we wanted was to freshen up and have a meal (as advertised) seemingly they've had no chef for over a year.... MISS ADVERTISEMENT! ...it wouldn't have mattered if alternative room was offered, sooooooooo disappointed, we just wanted to go home !

Amesbury is convenient for Salisbury, the Plain, the Artillery Centre, and Stonehenge. Well served with stores - there is an Aldi (rather hidden) and the adjacent Solstice Park has more stores. I always arrive early and have an excellent breakfast at the Friar Tuck Cafe. Plenty of car parking available. Eateries are not remarkable, but within a five mile range there are some very good pubs/restaurants.

STONEHENGE in the morning by sunset was wonderful and amazing in the evening.
Woodhenge is also great and Avebury as well.
Amesbury is an excellent place for the travel in a world 5000 years before today.
What an incredible unexpected experience. My husband is American and all Americans want to visit Stonehenge. He has been here in England for nearly four years and due to other commitments we have been unable to go. We were both so pleased with the hotels ambience and decor, the food and the staff especially Ali. She met us at reception and just seemed to be always at hand to make sure our stay was just perfect and we needed for nothing.
Perfect stay, perfect in everyway.
Thank you
Great location for me visiting family in Amesbury. Lovely room well furnished larger than I anticipated - very comfy king size bed. Heating was on when I arrived so lovely and warm. Huge shower room with great shower. Very quiet location. Continental breakfast bag perfectly adequate for my needs. Like the position of the TV for watching whilst in bed. LOVED the fresh milk in the fridge - makes all the difference to me - I dislike the little portions of UHT!
The hotel was delightful. Apparently it has just undergone a full refurbish - and it shows. The bar and breakfast areas well tended with pleasant staff, the whole place had a fine ambience. We ate an evening meal in the lounge - which was delicious and breakfast was equally good. The room itself was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was equally spotless.
I really enjoyed the cheerfulness and friendliness of the on duty staff members.
The location was nice, not being in a central location, but accessible to the town and city centre was great.
The hotel itself was simply decorated but did everything it needed, and you could not ask for more.
The location is amazing, so close to Stonehenge but also close to the centre of Amesbury. The hosts stocked everything we needed, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk so we didn't have to worry on arrival. The folder of useful information was the best we've ever seen :-)
It was spotlessly clean … and so quiet and comfortable
Our hosts were so gracious and welcoming … and provided breakfast… cereals juice and all we needed to start our day!
Amesbury is a lovely town just 15 minutes walk away with a few great bars and restaurants!!
We loved it!
Good location with many restaurants nearby walking distance (Amesbury Archer Harvester, McDonald, KFC, Pizza Hut, Toby Carvery Amesbury, Greggs, Cafe, etc).
Many EV charging stations available.
Co-op Food - Petrol just next to hotel.
First visit to Amesbury . I liked it. I definitely liked Fairlawn House. I highly recommend a stay and I think I'll be back. Charming place. Amazing breakfast and lovely staff. Keith and Kathy 👍 thank you so much. Victoria McLaren
Accomodation, staff & their Thai restaurant was wonderful. Parking was easy & inexpensive right opposite the hotel. They have a beautiful garden which we ate both breakfast & dinner, during the heatwave weekend
This is an easy, comfortable location from which to reach Stonehenge and Avebury. Very normal chain hotel with restaurant, big parking lot adjacent to convenience store and fast food. Easy access to roadway.
