Nice hotel, good location only about 20 min walk into the main town. Has parking which was good.

Alkham is a quiet little village with only the pub, church and park. Perfect to get away when you need A break. The food is to die for! The drinks options are amazing and the staff now how to look after you. Dover and Folkestone are between 10-15 minutes away and easy access to everything. Hidden Jem!

A very pretty Church - a very busy main road with very fast traffic & it was late in the day so we didn’t venture very far! A few walks were visible from the road but walking bouts required on the day of our visit.

The staff very friendly , nice atmosphere in the pub, warm and cosy , nice open fires . Would have preferred home made fries with our meal rather than frozen as the rest of the meal was a very good standard . Toast in the morning ok but again packet bread rather than fresh un cut loaf, let it down for the standard of the pub .PatrickFrance

We only had the breakfast as ate out with other members of the family. The breakfast was of good quality and offered a decent range although I should have liked porridge or granola. The coffee was a bit weak but then I like it strong. The staff were very friendly and were always on hand to help.
