ignore any review older than two years. The new owners are doing a great job! We only met Shaley but she was delightful and made us feel very welcome. The outside of the building looked a bit tired but I'm sure thats because the owners are concentrating, in their first few years, ensuring the rooms are up to scratch. Our room was really lovely. Well appointed, fresh, clean and with an amazing view across to Mull. In the evening we had a really well made and tasty pizza [there did seem to be other dishes on offer but that was never made very clear, maybe a tip for the future?].
All in all a fabulous stay. Shaley and Peter deserve to do well and Im sure they will!!

Our hosts Tom and Iain couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond expectations to ensure our stay was perfect.
We thought we had booked an evening meal but that wasn’t the case however, Iain produced a spectacular steak and mushroom pie and a cottage pie for us at short notice. The breakfast was superb, much thought had gone in to sourcing and supplying local produce and it was cooked to perfection.
The accommodation was spotless throughout and we had everything we could possibly need in our room. There were thoughtful personal touches,home made shortbread and fresh fruit.
Iain and Tom were the perfect hosts and Castle View was without doubt the best bed and breakfast, in the best location,that we have ever stayed in.
We travelled there by motorcycle and the roads and views were second to none.
We would highly recommend a stay here and we will certainly be returning.

The room was beautiful! Comfortable and spacious. The food was amazing, and the staff were really helpful! Also, the view of the mountains was stunning.

Nothing was too much travel. The General Manager was exceptional. Location albeit remote was exactly what we were looking for.

Views from the restaurant and outside at the picnic tables was incredible. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was well organised and tasted good. We stayed in the apartment which had a great kitchen and good living room. Bath was fantastic. Be aware you need to go up steps to get there. We were right above the very lively oub and coukd not hear any noise at all. So soundproofing must be good! There are a little set of shops close by but if you plan to cook or make your own food, collect your supplies at a bigger supermarket before you get there. Everything is very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to do everything well. We wished we had booked for longer.
