The room overlooked the roof, however than meant it was away from the events in the hotel and was very quiet. It was comfortable and clean. I also had an hour slot booked in the spa that was free. As I was delayed the staff moved the booked time later.

We holidayed at the end of April and the place was very quiet. Just one pub which we didn't go to. The place is very steep so we didn't do the walking out like we thought we would instead driving to local places for a wander.
We ate at Mannings in Fishguard which was a really nice experience, Moody cow just north of New Quay which was great, Jitterbug in New Quay which was superb and Cardigan town.
Places quite far apart and you need to drive most of the time.

Aberporth is a quiet coastal town - it has a nice seafront pub called The Ship Inn which did excellent food. Also, Driftwood cafe was good for breakfast and a great village store nearby. You need to watch out for opening times as it appears that most things shut quite early. Beach looked small but beautiful. Parking is limited.

~We spent our first night as Husband and Wife there could not have asked for anywhere nicer it was like being abroad it was lovely thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the stillness in the air there. We stayed at the Ship Inn/Hotel in Tresaith near to Aberporth. As you come along the road to Tresaith there are some houses on both side of the road down to the beach as you turn the corner there sits the Ship Inn Hotel on your left hand side with its own car-parking for the Inn's overnight guests at the bottom of the road its the life boat station and a dead end with disabled parking beside the beach.

If you don’t want your typical seaside holiday, and are after something quieter this is a great location.
Great cafe - Driftwood
Great Indian
Well stocked local shop
Fish and chip shop
Pub a little expensive
Location was great, overlooking the beach and on the quiet side of Aberporth. Good shop just up the road which was small but well-stocked, a good cafe just below the property and pub and fish & chips in the village too. The appartment was comfortable and surprisingly spacious, with a very good shower and the decking area was a real bonus. We were worried about the parking, but were always able to find somewhere nearby, and it was great to have the cafe so close to us! We'll definitely return here, it had everything we needed.
If you are looking for a really lovely, modern, spotlessly clean place to stay near Aberporth, we highly recommend this house. Everything looks new, lovely decor, very comfy sofas and beds, enclosed garden and well equipped. It isn't a seaside cottage, it's a short drive into lovely Aberporth, where there is an excellent chippy and beautiful beach. Communication about arrival was excellent.
Bader house was a perfect base for exploring the Cardigan bay area, located in a quiet area just outside Aberporth. A well presented property with everything a family would need for a long stay. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to pick up the keys before the normal check in time which was much appreciated. Great communication with the host. No issues at all.
Exquisite room with very fine furnishing. Teal colours were to DIE FOR! Lovely bathroom. Plenty of towels and efficient heating rack . Very useful boot/shoe trays in room and entrance seeing that we were hiking. Lovely padded HANGARS for a change ( ie not M&S leftovers) Very classy ! Book it anyday - please people use this lovely hotel. Receptionist absolutely charming.
Everything was wonderful in this uniques hotel situated over a picturesque bay. Loved the views and watching dolphins swimming from our balcony. The staff were friendly and welcoming! Restaurant serves wonderful meals and breakfasts. Many local visitors were chatting about how much they enjoy it also and that they regularly return!
The cottage is set in a beautiful, quiet secluded valley only a short drive from Aberporth beach. The location is exceptional and the cottage perfectly designed. Our granddaughter spent one night there with us and the other one came to visit for a short while; both loved meeting the animals.
My wife and I had a pleasant 2 night stay at the property recently. The owners were friendly, thoughtful and easy going, and have made the annex into a comfortable place to stay, with lots of character added. Aberporth and the surrounding area are lovely and well worth a visit.
The upstairs bedroom / sitting room was absolutely lovely with a really fantastic view of the very pretty Aberporth Bay from the two dormer windows. The kitchen and utility room were both very well equipped with everything you would need for a great holiday.
A very nice hotel and great location with a wonderful view and scenery.
Breakfast is great and the view from the dining room was marvelous.
The main building with its relics that remind some kind of a manor, and the gardens are unique and beautiful.
A charming cottage a few minutes' walk away from the centre of Aberporth. It is very well equipped, very comfortable, with a lot of lovely touches. Useful information was shared prior to arrival, and finding the keys was very easy.
This hotel is perfect in every way, lovely location, excellent staff ⚕️, owner's very welcoming, food second to none.
We will almost certainly be back.
