Breakfast was superb. Silvie provided plenty of home made and home grown fare. The inside of the property was like nowhere else I've stayed, fantastic decor and furniture.

Lovely Riverside location. Hosts were wonderful. Dean and Lynne couldn't have been more helpful, even to the point of giving us advice on our property search and alternative means of going about it. We will be back.

Touring the area by motorcycle house hunting, in preparation...
Touring the area by motorcycle house hunting, in preparation for a move to France, we found many towns felt very 'Sad' and run down. Saint Junien felt much more alive and upbeat. A few lively bars, very few properties in poor repair and the town had nothing that would cause concern, either as a holiday stay or even as a town for relocation consideration. Our stay was short, but there was plenty to see for longer stays, we will definitely return and even modify the next road trip to build in a night or two in this wonderful town.

The place is simply beautiful.
The place is simply beautiful. Perfect for couples who want some quality time together. A nice long walk and soak up the history. Go for a romantic meal and just relax. We ate at Le Boeuf Rouge, the food was delicious and the service was first class.

We did not have time to explore this time but we were in Saint-Junien in June of this year and found it a very busy town, very convenient for site seeing and visiting lots of places. Lots of excellent restaurants and cafes.
Nice hotel..We only stayed 1 night and we didn't arrive until 8pm so just had a drink
Reception guy very nice and funny, made us feel very welcome..Free private parking
Rooms were clean, bed slightly hard but for 1 night
Breakfast was ok, usual fruit, cold meat and pastries..
Perfect for a visit to the WW2 memorial town..
Would def stay again..
A very comfortable Chambre d'hote with welcoming hosts. The room's facilities were exceptional overlooking a lovely garden. Situated about a 10 minute drive from the centre of Saint-Junien the property is approached up a long hill, which is about a kilometre south of the D675. Breakfast was in the continental style and more than ample.
Charming historic hotel in centre of town which has recently undergone major enhancements to its restaurant and public areas. Been coming here for well over 20yrs as it is a good stop-off point en route from or to the channel ports. Quality of the dinner and breakfast is first class. Rooms are good value.
A very practical hotel: spacious room and bathroom. Good restaurant, with good menu and carte options. Food average price, house wine very reasonable. Copious breakfast (no hot food) for a very acceptable price. Very efficient service. In short, great for a no-fuss stopover.
Hotel was well located for Oradour which was our principal destination en route to the Dordogne. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Pool area was appreciated after a long journey
hotel with overall good value for money on the location I chose for an overnight stay on my way to Spain, through France. Very Large Room and almost by the side of the main road.
This is a simple hotel, but it was comfortable and very clean. It included a nice breakfast in he morning. The staff was very nice and helpful when we had any questions.
Central location for small town. good car parking at hotel included in room price. would describe this hotel as clean and functional for an over night stop en route.
Lovely location. Plenty of parking. Easy to find.
Hotel staff were very welcoming. Large room. Very comfortable bed.
Great restaurant.
Breakfast was delicious
The hotel has ample parking off site. The bed was comfy.
We stayed in a regular room and there was a separate toilet to the bathroom.
Overall it was nice.
