Absolutely lovely, quiet, peaceful place to begin and end each of a 4-day stay while touring Dordogne. Breakfast was just right; linens were great as was the bed. Sitting by the pool on the upper terrace with a picnic dinner was primo to a busy day of exploring.

We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.
Boasting a restaurant, Les Lodges du golf de la Marterie is located in the golf couse of the Marterie. Among the various facilities of this property are a bar and a terrace.
