This was a rather lovely rustic-meets-Scandi-style bed and breakfast about fifteen minutes drive from Angoulême city centre. It was the perfect combination of quiet, countryside location with lovely walks, and handily placed for nipping into the city. Good breakfast, very friendly staff, and big, comfortable bed, with great quality linen.

This is an exceptionally well-equipped, self-contained kitchen, bedroom, shower, and toilet adjacent to the main house. Secure parking within the gated/walled vast garden. The hosts and their family are delightful, interesting, and warmly welcoming - a lovely family. Gluten-free food allergies were catered for without hesitation - thank you. Franglais spoken! We would return without hesitation.
