Very clean and and the double bed was a full mattress, not two mattresses pushed together. The self check in was very easy and comfortable. It was great to also have free parking right by the hotel as we were traveling by car on our way to Spain. The location was perfect for our itinerary, so we didn't have to go too far off the road.

Great location, walk to old town markets and train station as well as grocery.
Hotel is very comfortable, I got the first floor room so walking up the steps was not so bad.
Just a 8-minute walk from Montbeliard Castle and one mile from Stade Auguste Bonal, Appart'Hôtel de la Gare features accommodations in Montbéliard with a terrace.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The parking lot was perfect. Very convenient and great for those traveling by car. The staff was very friendly and told me good directions on how to get to the 5th Best Christmas Market in Europe. This was an easy walk and I would stay here again if I come back some year for the Christmas Market again. The room was a very comfortable size and I had a nice bathroom. All went well. I was very happy because I had never heard of this chain of hotels before.
The place is a beautiful old house with its old furniture and style. It is very cozy and I feel like in an old movie. Everything here works slowly, breakfast is basically prepared on the moment and consists on bread with different spreads, a piece of local cheese and coffee. It does not follow modern standards of hotel service but I find that to be part of the charm. One must not expect a hotel in the traditional sense of the word, this is more like an inn in a Lord of the rings movie.
The bedroom was nice, it was comfortable, the shower was good. All-in-all have no qualms, was exactly what we needed and it met our expectations according to the price we paid. Although, I'm not exactly sure what qualified it as a 3-star hotel. I was also disappointed that the spa was only open 3-8 because you're unable to appreciate it if you're only there for a night.

Sunday, the hotel seemed to be fully empty when we arrived. Surprisingly we had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Ayoub. He was very service minded and had a super positive vibe. His English was way better than average in la douce France. Explained where we could get dinner in town. Rooms are good on price/quality. ♥️
The hotel provides a late arrival option, which was very, very important to us, but what is unfortunately not the standard for most of the other hotels in the corner. So, you made our day.
The cost/performance ratio was fair. You can’t expect a 5-star hotel for this rate.
This is a clean, comfortable, stylish, and sterile hotel at a very convenient location to Montbeliard. Our stay here was a bit utilitarian as we were on our way home from a long road trip. We enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast was generous!
Great location, clean, typical 17th century building renovated to 21st century hotel (some quirks, but all is good). Good breakfast in beautiful room.
Easy walk to city sights.
Secured and covered bike storage provided.
Cozy room very comfortable, big bathroom and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, exceeding many 4 stars hotels, and even providing local products e.g. the sausages of Montbéliard - highly reccomended.
Bed's quality, cleanliness, breakfast selection were all good. Best: wooden floors in rooms, much more hygienic than carpeting. Location is good, though you need to drive into the pedestrian zone to get to the hotel.
Hotel is old but with character and history . Airconditioned.. Good breakfast. Central in the city. (Paid) parking at the hotel, but in the weekends free parking near the castle, just a 2 minute walk.
Location wise perfect.
Very close to Montbéliard railway station and bus station (hardly 200-300 mtr).
Enjoy my stay.
Summer is good time to visit as restaurants are open till late night (2am).
The hotel has probably seen better days, but to be fair we were there on a very cold snowy day and could not enjoy the grounds. Our room was cold although the beds were warm.
Centrally located in Montbeliard. I stayed one night as part of a cycle tour along the EV6 and it was an ideal place to stay after a long day. Clean, quiet and comfortable
