The staff is so friendly! They took the effort of speaking English when it is very common that french do not like speaking English! Plus points from me! They upgraded me to a very big room because I am a frequent guest at the hotel. Another plus point for me.

Nice, friendly hotel right in the centre of Thones, less than 30 minutes away from Lake Annecy. Our family room was nice and spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but very clean. We didn't try the buffet breakfast (10 euro pp) as there was a little boulangerie across the road that served French coffee and a pastry for 2.50 - check it out if you have the time. The hotel mentions free parking - the parking is actually a public parking in the street behind the hotel (Rue de la Tournette) and the hotel is accessible via a covered walkway. We went in August and found a parking space but it is not possible to reserve it. The hotel is right in the centre of Thones, close to lots of restaurants/church/market (on a Saturday). Thones itself is a very pretty village.
