excellent location, lovely room with tub, friendly and helpful staff! the front desk helped my partner find and navigate to an open pharmacy on a sunday when i was not feeling good. they also showed care and concern by repeatedly checking on my health status throughout the day. we felt taken good care of - thank you so much!

Very unique castle with completely different rooms in it… giving you the inner sense of connection with the site around not form the perspective of hotel… but mostly as of you are an expected guest of some nice family… very cozy.. and especially me and my son we like the Michelin dinners there ….

Great location, just above the town; it's a short walk to town and to the viewing point of the cliffs as well. Views from the hotel are exceptional. They gave us adjoining rooms for my family that was very convenient - both rooms had large windows with seating, perfect for watching the coastline. Staff is very helpful and courteous. The hotel restaurant was excellent. 5 star hotel feels; should be re-evaluated because deserves are higher rating!

Great location right in town and a short walk to the beach area. Plenty of restaurants right nearby.
Property is right off the street with self check in and paid parking by meters nearby.
Full kitchen and spacious.
Étretat is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen.
Étretat is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen. The cliffs, I mean. And Jardins d’Etretat. Don’t miss Jardins. The town, however, is super touristy. There are no good restaurants. I’d say sleep somewhere else and visit Étretat for a day.

Etretat is a lovely, relaxing little seaside resort.
Etretat is a lovely, relaxing little seaside resort. Not much to do in town except relax and eat at one of the excellent little restaurants.
Good place to explore local towns like Dieppe or Fecamp.
Good walks and views up on the cliffs.

Beautiful seaside town, was a bit overcrowded when we went...
Beautiful seaside town, was a bit overcrowded when we went and city center was closed to cars which meant everyone was pouring over to outside carparks which were overflowing. Best to avoid July/August time.
Lots of restaurants but there could be a queue to get in due to overcrowding. There are lots of fish restaurants, nice places for icecream, lots of very sweet and unusal shops.

Staff at both the hotel and a highly rated pizza restaurant...
Staff at both the hotel and a highly rated pizza restaurant were rude and complacent. Everywhere else along the north coast of France was quite the opposite, and so I wonder if this is an issue with the people working in Etretat. I found the town to be very disappointing and was glad to leave.

Fantastic walks along the cliffs and the beach.
Fantastic walks along the cliffs and the beach. Stunning views on each direction. The gardens are interesting with sculptures augmenting the features of the gardening.
Etretat Town gets very busy with coach trips and is quite expensive.

Etretat is a very scenic place.
Etretat is a very scenic place. We visited in February so it didn't have a lot of tourists but a lot of places were closed,
The cliffs are a must see and the walk up there is worth it.
Walking around is made easy by the fact that the city center is not accessible to cars but parking can and will get expensive the closer you are to the city center (1€ for 30 min in the red zone).
I would advise to come by train as much as possible or find a parking spot outside of the city if you're ok with walking.
The Dormy House has been one of our best stays anywhere. The location (views, views, views!) the rooms, the staff, the food are all excellent. Having stayed in Etretat once before in a hotel in the center of town, I always wanted to return and try Dormy House. What a treat. We highly recommend it. Etretat is so charming, and from Dormy House, you can see the beach and the Falaise d'Amont. It also an easy walk down a short hill to centre ville and to the hiking paths of Falaise d'Aval.
Charming cottage, clean, tidy, lovely ambience, brilliant location to walk to the beach and local shops. Pretty little garden seating area. A relaxing, private haven so much nicer than a tourist hotel. The configuration of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus space downstairs to relax in the lounge room, kitchen and back garden was perfect for our needs. Another big positive was the car space right outside the house! Estelle the host was really helpful, easy communication.
Everything about our stay exceeding our expectations! This is such a hidden gem, Sandrine was there to welcome us and was very responsive throughout our stay. As soon as you open the door, the town is a couple steps away. Our space was so special and authentic. It felt safe and quiet - this was a very raw experience in the town of Étretat that I will never forget. We feel so thankful it was available for our one night stay!
the property was very beautiful with the charming Antiques decoration. Great breakfast in the morning. The owner of the property is the local man who knows well about many good point s of Étretat ans he gave me a good advice during staying there was wonderful. Moreover, the property located in a good location nearby the center ville many interesting restaurant nearby just 10mins walk to the beach front.
This very old hotel is lovely to stay in, as long as you dont mind a few flights of stairs - its very historical and in the centre of the village. The reception is shared with the hotel across the road. The room was lovely with lots if historical features, but it has plenty of power points for powering up devices and the shower room was as required
The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the sea and from some of the rooms, you can even see the sea from the window.
The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 people and a cat.
The bathroom was really nice especially in comparison to the size of the bedroom itself so this was a big plus for us.
We have been very happy with this property equipment, very comfortable living space and bedrooms, very close to Etretat cliffs, good value for money! We would rent it for longer period without doubts :-) Kids enjoyed the games left for them in the wardrobe ;-)
The best place to stay in Étretat, such a wonderful experience with amazing hostess and staff, beautiful décor and truly the nicest rooms ever - even if I have really traveled a lot, never did I enjoy so much a place. We will be coming back for sure!
Very warm welcome by the owner Stephane who shared a lot of information with us regarding our visit to Étretat. We loved the facilities and the quiet! All round very pleasant experience. Can definitely recommend this establishment.
We loved the location on the beachfront of etretat. The restaurant in front of the hotel was lovely to enjoy seafood ! The hotel was nice and comfortable (we had a little baby and they accommodated this very well with a baby cot).
The location is perfect! Right in central Etretat and a short walk to the cliffs. We went in November when the fisherman’s house was an amazing price. It was nice for our group to be able to spread out into three large bedrooms.
The location was perfect! What a view! It was easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and town. Hiking to the cliffs was a very short walk and well worth the climb to the top. The flat was very large and spacious.
It was a wonderful and warm experience. The host is really nice and breakfasts are amazing. This place has the best views of Etretat. The jardin is even better than jardin de Etretat! We will definitely come back
Upon arrival the owner met us and brought us a lovely dinner and wine. She visited with us for some time and was so gracious and welcoming. The location is primo. Best views of etretat.
Excellent property in the heart of Etretat. Julia, the owner, could not be nicer or more welcoming. The apartment was very nice and clean and next to several top-notch restaurants.
Fabulous , private cabin in a scenic location overlooking Etretat . The cabin has everything you need to make a comfortable stay .
The host Daniel super friendly and helpful .
