Madame and Monsieur Giroud was a wonderful couple with feeling for best service and hospitality. Only speaking French was the best thing for us so we could practice our small knowlege of this beautiful language. Amazing views across the lake and to the high mountains all around. Our room was spotless with very comfortable beds, great hot shower. Compact but exactly what the traveller needs. The restaurant food is first class - really good - but they don't have enough staff serving so it's pretty slow. We were not in a rush & enjoyed it very much . Lovely people running the hotel
