Yasawa Homestays, hotel in Nacula Island

Set in a pristine beachfront location on the remote Yasawa Island, Yasawa Homestays provides a beautiful escape. Immerse yourself in Fijian culture with traditional dances, food and village life.

The locals were wonderfully friendly and attentive, they genuinely seemed happy to have us in their midst. The location on a fantastic white sand beach is quite stunning. We enjoyed swimming and snorkelling from the beach. We had a great walk up to the phone tower with fantastic views across the islands in all directions. We really enjoyed the Sawa-i-lau caves, which are a 20 minute boat ride away. Swimming into the second cave and exploring it was a remarkable experience. Note the caves are closed on Sundays, open 8 am - 12 noon Mon to Sat. Hospitality was great, we ate our meals in different houses around the village, often shared with other homestay guests. We joined in a kava ceremony one evening which was entertaining. Accommodation is basic as you would expect, a spartan but comfortable beach front bure, our own toilet and shower in a shack close by. Shower was a bit of a warm trickle but did the job at the end of the day. Food was basic but tasty, very carb heavy, you may want to practice politely declining seconds. We drank plenty of local water with no ill effects. We also visited a couple of the resorts in the Yasawas and a few days at a homestay made a great contrast and really enriched the whole trip. We travelled on the Yasawa Flyer which worked well, the connection to the homestay was easy. We booked individual transfers between the islands ourselves rather than using the multi day pass, which was a lot cheaper in our case. We bought 500g of kava root in Nadi before leaving for the islands as our sevusevu, it keeps for a few days no problem.

Sulé and Cookie were just amazing. Really AMAZING spot where to snorkel and live island life. There are lots of free activities, and this shows you that they don't care just about their business but also about making us experience a great staying. Cookie is a great cooker and Sulé is a great captain. We planted a coconut plant so... We might go back in 10 years! Vinaka

S@fe Landing Lodge, hotel in Nacula Island

Facing the beachfront, S@fe Landing Lodge offers 2-star accommodation in Nacula Island and features a garden, terrace and restaurant.

It was in a beautiful location, I was in a dorm alone (mainly because there was not a door handle or lock on the bathroom door so it wouldn’t stay closed and I questioned this) It was quiet, the food was good.

Staff was very friendly, just like all Fijians really. The cave trip was nice and the snorkelling trip too. A bit of a community feel if you like that. You eat your meals together with everyone else. It has a beach very close to the property and lots of hammocks. A real Fijian experience. They organised a dance night with kava making.

Nanuya Island Resort, hotel in Nacula Island

Nanuya Island Resort has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Nanuya Lailai. The accommodation features karaoke and room service.

A stay that I cannot find any fault with. If you’re struggling to decide which of the many resorts and islands in Fiji to pick from, then you really can’t go wrong with Nanuya Island Resort. From the second you arrive to the moment you leave you become part of the family. The food throughout my stay was great and for me seemed like great value and the staff go above and beyond to make every aspect of your visit as enjoyable as possible

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay, hotel in Nacula Island

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, water sports facilities and a garden.

The place offered very good price deals and you could meet lot of travellers as we all had breakfast and dinner together. I would recommend the cave trip organised also by this stay. The nice thing is also that the stay is just on the opposite side of island from the famous Blue Lagoon, so you can walk around 20-30 minutes from the place directly which gives you lot of flexibility.

Nacula (pronounced na-th-ula) is an incredible place to stay. It's the last stop for accomodation on the Yasawa Flyer. It has a home reef you can snorkel at, with plentiful and diverse sea life, including an elusive turtle, and colourful and varied coral. Hiking is available and easy to get to, with trail heads and trail easy to find and follow. There are caves which you can visit and swim in a short boat ride away. The local village allows people to attend the church service at a low cost. It is a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate.

One of the best weeks of my life.

One of the best weeks of my life. I'm a solo traveller and I'd go back tomorrow. The staff are just amazing and treat you like family, everyone on a first name basis. It is a smaller resort and we got to now each other as it's so chilled and everyone is just relaxed.

The hike over the hill gave perspective and was interesting.

The hike over the hill gave perspective and was interesting. The rooms were spacious and relaxing. The costs were hard to accomodate with only a certain amount of cash in my wallet and no way of topping up. Visiting the village and my kids developing a sense of perspective about how people around the world live was valuable.
