Good location. We have been there only one night so for us it was OK.
Enjoy the sea air from your private balcony in this hotel, make the most of the sunshine by the outdoor pool –you are just a short stroll to the beach.
Hotel Rural Almazara is located in the hills above Nerja, on Andalucía’s Costa del Sol. It is a country-style hotel offering rooms with a private terrace and fantastic sea views.
Offering a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Hotel Villa Frigiliana is set 200 metres from the picturesque Andalusian village of Frigiliana.
Hotel Puerta del Mar is located in a quiet pedestrianised street next to the famous Balcón de Europa in Nerja, and just 100 metres from the beach.

The location is superb. You're a stroll away from the Balcon and from restaurants, shopping and beach. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. The hotel is spotless, convenient and room was spacious and aircon was very good. I will definitely return there and would highly recommend it.
Set in the beautiful white-washed village of Torrox Pueblo in Andalusia, Hotel La Casa features a terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding Tejeda Mountains and valley.

Just returned from a week at La Casa in April.
I can't speak highly enough about the owners, Sarah and Karen.
They are friendly, personable and on hand when you need them without being too much!
The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the views from the shared roof terrace are beautiful!
We loved to grab a beer from the honesty bar and sit on the terrace before going out for the evening.
So peaceful!
The hotel location is perfectly situated a very short distance from the main Pueblo Plaza where you can eat, drink and watch the world go by.
There's a great mix of locals and ex pats from all around this village and it feels really friendly.
We got talking to numerous people, residents and other holiday makers.
We wandered round the village and enjoyed the peace in places and slight buzz in others but Torrox Pueblo is a short drive from areas like Torrox Costa, Nerja or an approx hour from Malaga if more life is required.
However, it's a haven to return to at the end of the day.
Plenty of free car parks but we used one in particular which is just a short pleasant stroll from the hotel, Concordia.
The hotel doubles as a restaurant for 3 nights (poss 4 in height of season?) and we booked in for a dinner on the last night they offer service.
The food was so good and had we of tried it the first night, may well have booked in all nights to eat there.
Finally and only a small point, we travel a fair bit and whilst try to spend as little time in hotels as possible, whilst we are, the TV usually restricts me to watching BBC world news on a loop.... which eventually wears thin!
La Casa had several English channels including Breakfast TV which I really appreciated.
Would definitely recommend and be happy to return given the opportunity.

Maro is a lovely small town with fantastic restaurants and the best beach I've been to. It's a 5-minute drive from Nerja which is a lot busier and easily accessible by taxi. But to stay I would definitely recommend Maro as it is calm and very enjoyable. The local residents were also very nice and welcoming. It also has caves, music festivals and plenty of playgrounds and picnic parks.

Beach 25 minute walk away ,worth it!!!
Beach 25 minute walk away ,worth it!!! Great swimming beach fishes jumped out of the water when we were swimming, canoes to hire on beach and a few sunbeds, really good value to hire at 5 euros for the day. Keeps you fit . Saw a pair of huge Griffin vultures flying overhead as we walked uphill from playa de Maro , pretty spectacular. The land around you is agricultural, so lots of irrigated crops, running water and verdant scenery. Saw butterflies, preying mantis. The flies are a nuisance though, they bite you. 3 small stores to get necessities and 4 places to eat. Also another very natural lovely beach to go to through the plastic greenhouses. Both beaches about 25 minute walk away.

There are 2 beaches.one is a about 15 min walk and it’s quite
a slog back up the hill from the beach.
You can take the car down to the second beach but parking is difficult.
It’s lovely to visit the town square around dusk when the birds
are singing before settling for the night.
Lovely quiet town.
It was a great location with a nice view of the water, next door to a restaurant / bar.
The apartment is located in Maro which is a lovely village at the top of the hill above Maro beach, surrounded by farms, and we loved the sounds of the birds outside.
Large carpark was across the road.
The room was simple, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here.
Would recommend.
Very spacious rooms ,very fresh decor ,nice quality ,good coffee machine , I enquired about a kettle , one appeared within the hour , very accommodating host ,well located close to balcon de maro,on a very quiet street ,amazing roof terrace with excellent views of sea and mountains and got very warm in October, it's effectively a whole floor of a large house
We had a lovely stay at the studio with Terrace in Maro! Wonderful view on the sea, Nerja and landscape in front of building with some farming activity. Quiet location with sounds of nature at night. Still very near to Nerja. Very clean and great service by Paco. Sun from approx 11 in the morning till sunset on terrace (beginning of March).
Maro is a lovely little village outside Nerja. I stayed here with my daughter and we had a perfect few days. The apartment is clean, well equipped and well located. The rooftop pool is small. More a plunge pool than a swimming pool. Great for cooling down in the hot Spanish sun ☀️
The apartment was good value for money, with a small balcony and view of the sea, and more spacious than I had expected. I'd been to Maro before, it is a lovely place to spend a few days, much quieter than Nerja which is a short bus-ride or 45 minute walk away.
Beautiful renewed apartment in the quiet place of Maro.
Absolutely cleanliness, modern furnished with nice wiew on the sea.
Manager Francisco is a very pleasant nice person.
I would recomended the place!
The location overlooking the sea was just perfect. The apartment is very basic, but the location in quiet Maro is ideal for visiting all the nearby Nerja has to offer and you’re away from the crowds.
A spacious self-contained apartment, bigger than I expected and with balcony to sit out on, in the heart of the village of Maro. Isabel and José were friendly and attentive hosts.
