Breakfast was great. Special treats at Easter. The Chinese restaurant next to the hotel offers buffet at a very reasonable price. (€16 in April 2024) Staff were very friendly and kind, even offered a cup of coffee while waiting for checking in. The shower was good, temperature could be adjusted easily and the water flow was strong.

Beautiful location, easy check-in, friendly staff, within walking distance to the Brecht-Weigel-Haus and close to the Schermützelsee. You can hear the Stobbe (creek) but it is a beautiful sound. The main door to a small balcony did have an almost perfect mosquito net which was good to allow fresh air in even in times where there are a lot of mosquitos.

Visited Eberswalde as part of a cycling trail. Location lies slightly out of the centre, but makes up for it in terms of price/quality. Hotel rooms are in the back of the terrain, decent sized rooms. Bike could be stored safely, and hotel also has a restaurant on site, so overall a good one-stop place if you're traveling.
