First and second floor hotel with compact but very clean and comfortable room overlooking one of the main pedestrian areas, although this was relatively quiet early in the week. Bathroom compact but fully equipped. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Very prompt laundry service and staff very cheerful and willing. A few minutes' walk from the railway station.

I often stay at the Tide when in Friesland. Why? Well, I booked a room there once because I knew that I would arrive during the wee hours of the morning... after dropping my sailplane off for servicing at M&D Flugzeugbau in nearby Friedeburg.
