Greifswald is nice little student town essentially at the sea with people on bikes all around. It is a nice place to visit, has some tourist attractions and some shops. In general the prices are very affordable and there is a decent selection. This is, of course, a small student town so nothing for people that expect a lot of sightseeing or shopping. The city has been beautifully restored and the square has some fascinating Hanseatic era architecture particularly in the town square. The bars and restaurants are very good with lots fo choice both traditionally German and from further a field. Greifswald is a home to largest fusion reactor in the world, Wendelstein 7X. Apart from that impressive machine, nature in Greifswald is absolutely wonderful. Rivers and lakes, cliffs and forests, the Baltic sea and its fish in restaurants wont leave you disappointed.

Also the old Hanseatic town centre can be reached in 5 minutes walking time. The harbour of Greifswald is only a couple of more minutes along the old city wall. The rooms are quite spacious. The two apartments 2 and 3 on the 2nd floor were very nice and lovely decorated with a modern shower/ bathroom and a small build-in kittchen corner.
