Nice decor despite only staying the night. Well kept and clean and very comfortable. Shower was amazing and bathroom essentials were of great value. Overall, I would stay here again.

The host kindly acknowledged our request to have a quiet room, and indeed it was really nice and quiet. :) The room was pleasant and comfortable. As it was a weekend, we could park on the street for free. The location is great for discovering Bayreuth on foot.

I like this town. The surroundings are pleasant. The town is small and green. There are many parks. Not very noisy. Nice and quiet. There are enough shops. Cafes have nice prices and tasty food. It is a bit frustrating that many cafes don't have coffee with lactose-free milk and few sugar-free products for diabetics, as well as shops.

The baroque opera house is lovely and certainly worth a visit. \The Margrave New Palace and park. Also the Hermitage, on the outskirts of Bayreuth. The Wagner museum is a sort of must, but if possible, check the times of guided tours to the Steingaertner Piano factory. Some of the churches are worth a visit as are the parks.

Bayreuth was a pleasantly relaxing place with plenty to see, both in the city and nature.
There are several nice parks, as well as a lovely botanical garden. I was a bit surprised at the Ermitage, as it stands out significantly from other European palaces.
We found a delightful mexican restautant, Enchilada. We went a few times in our stay.
It was mostly comfortable to ride a bike, though many streets lack bike lanes.

Since I live only 40 miles away, it wasn’t exactly a „Weltreise.“ But it was nice to find a reasonably priced hotel for an overnight. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent. I know where to stay for my next overnight in Bayreuth.

I actually stayed for 4 nights....attended two operas and had a good look round two lovely churches. Elegant city...easy to stroll round...well tended and traffic never a nuisance. Gardens were exceptional....and the local beer was yummy....and fairly priced. Lots of shops including antique type stuff.
I hope to return next year and delve further.

We were there for the opera only.
We were there for the opera only. But there are some good visits to do - the Festpielhaus gardens and the adjacent park and forests for one. Also the Eremitage and the old city centre and the "New" Palace.
It's not a new hotel, the vibe is more like the 90s but... who is tired of chain hotels it's a nice change.
First of all, it is quiet, ideal for sleeping up to 1/2 night, service without any problem
Breakfast worth the price products fresh what was missing was delivered, there is no express but as in the old style you get a thermos of coffee
A big plus is the large open parking lot and it's free of charge which is a rarity these days, you will drive in a van or suv with a thule.
Welcoming staff in all areas of hotel, wonderful, full of choices breakfast included in tariff and well organised shuttle taxis to the Festival which was the point of my stay. Well appointed single room with plenty of power points.
Very close to Villa Wahnfried, Richard Wagner Strasse and main street in Bayreuth. Hotel is an easy walk from the Hbf. After several Festival stays at this hotel it has maintained it's great standard over the years.
The apartment has a unique style, which was even nicer than the photos portray. The location is perfect for a short walk into Bayreuth, a supermarket is nearby (walking distance) and it's quiet. It was very well equipped in the kitchen and offered
a washing machine, too. It even had a smallish but pleasant balcony from which we could watch the sunset.
1. Garage is so close and you can enter directly to hotel from garage. Great for people with much luggage and for the people sensitive to the cold.
2. Internet worked excellent.
3. Breakfast was great but be careful. It's from 7 till 9. On the restaurant door it's written that working hours are from 11:30 till some time...
Lovely private, well-appointed apartment with covered terrace and a garden. Juliane was extremely helpful. The apartment, though small, is exceptionally well-equipped and has many thoughtful touches. Thank you Juliane for making our stay in Bayreuth so memorable.
This was our third stay at the Arvena Kongress for the Bayreuth Festival. We'll certainly stay here every time we're fortunate enough to get tickets for the festival. Food, transportation, location, etc. is perfect for a visit to the festival.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was air conditioning which was very important in the high August temperatures.
The hotel is in the city center close to the magnificent opera house and the main attractions.
The lady who worked there on Saturday evening. I asked her for a mug of hot water. She was so kind as to also take the mug up to my room. She is perhaps the only normal parson I met at that hotel.
Heated floor in the bathroom. Little sitting area for reading. Easy walk to area sites. Private parking lot included in room price. Very good restaurant attached to the hotel.
Modern high quality rooms, great location and delightful breakfast buffet so very close to Bayreuth’s city center. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent value!
Room size, very friendly and competent staff, cleaning staff managing to clean the room when we were gone, sekt and soft drinks before setting off for Bayreuther Festspiele.
Very good location in the city centre. Very convenient system of check-ins and check-outs, the hotel provides you code for the room you don't need a key.
