Hotel is very near the railway station, can walk to the hotel. My customer is in Grenchen, suggest me stay in this nice town. It is really nice, can spend half day to go around. The hotel people is very nice, even can't speak much English, But still trying their best to help me. Room and breakfast is very nice. BTW, when we check out, finally I found the WiFi password is wrote on a piece of small paper and sticker on the TV.

Location was wonderful right in the center of town
Fantastic town which offers a great combination of culture,...
Fantastic town which offers a great combination of culture, restaurants and nature! We stayed 3 days and loved it!!
It is super easy to walk around.
We visited Blumenstein Museum (absolutely worth it!), walked through the verena’s gorge (amazing), rode a bike along the Aare river till Büren and see Aare (ate at restaurant il grano: great location, fresh good and creative way of serving it), did a detective-trail in the old town (great way to learn about some legends and discover the city!), saw the 11 hour clock, visited the waldegg castle, ate well (brasserie federale, cantinetta bindella), got a great massage at the last floor of H4 hotel with a great view and generally just enjoyed the lively and relaxing atmosphere there.
It was such an amazing discovery!!!
The hotel is conveniently located in a calm area, with easy reach to public transport.
The self-service check in makes things convenient and easy - In particular after hours!
Beds are comfortable, the bathrooms have everything you'd need (including a hair dryer).
As a little bonus: the hotel's theme being gummy bears, you have some fun things around these; including a gummy bear fortune teller book next to your bed! 😋 🐻 🧸

The Wirthen is an old school hotel, with all it's wood panelled charm. Breakfast is a fantastic Swiss style mini buffet. Some will be disappointed, but for us, there was a pleasant charm that I look forward to every stay. The room was large, but there are many sizes in this hotel, some are not as large.
The most important in a small property, Hotel & Restaurant, is the hand of the owner.
Also, like owner of small hotels and turist apartments in Valencia (Spain), I recognice it inmediately.
I travel along Europe and outside choosing this kind of business to learn from them
Beautifully decorated in a contemporary way while respecting the historical features.
Delicious restaurant: we had lunch and enjoyed every bite of it.
Perfect central location in the cute old town of Solothurn.
Comfortable bedding and great noise isolation.
The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but good value for money. The manager was friendly and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. The hotel is close to the station and about a 5-10 min walk to the old town.
The location was perfect, but the hotel manger refused to give is the river view rooms despite we book
The room has no boilers and iron and iron board
(( the A/C is not cooling in most of the rooms
So i don't recommend the hotel in summer
We loved the view from our room across the river and the location was excellent being central to the city where we meet our friends who live locally. Parking outside the hotel was ideal.
V central location, within walking distance fr Station. Other interesting places are nearby.
Hotel is clean, breakfast is good, lady in charge is warm n friendly.
Excellent service and food in restaurant; room was very new, cozy and comfy. Bus stop next to the place: within few minutes you are taken to downtown Solothurn.
