Beautiful rooms, they feel very cozy, you have a view on a fountain and the streets in the centre. I enjoyed observing the town life from the window. The café is also very nice, they have very tasty bio syrups and jams, and it seems to be a local hotspot. The location is perfect, very central. The toilet and bathroom are shared with 2 other rooms, but they were always clean. The staff is very friendly and sweet.

It was an Amarcord thing for me, to re-visit the place where I used to live as a student in my twenties.
Lots of changes, I liked the old Swiss style.
Charming restaurants, plenty of café.
Very good but extremely expensive train system, buy your tickets well in advance.

The lakeside walk is beautiful, with Alps on the far side.
The lakeside walk is beautiful, with Alps on the far side. The architecture of the old Town is beautiful. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, gift shops, dress shops, cheese shops, chocolate shops, cafés and restaurants within very easy walking distance everywhere between the lake and the famous Collegiale where Reformer William Farrell once preached. The central Marché is an especially picturesque spot for a coffee or a meal at one of its many cafés. There is a funicular to Chaumont and its charming Petite Hotel which serves excellent food. Next to it is a zip line fun park for kids and playground for littles.
The Neuchâtel museum is worth a visit. 2 lakeside restaurants with outside eating are great: Beau Rivage and Waves. Boats to other towns around the 3 lakes are fun and easy to book.

Breakfast was great. Coffee in rooms was great.
Breakfast was great. Coffee in rooms was great. Sixth floor room/attic was horrible. Can’t stand up in 1/3 of the room, portable AC loud and vented through opening in the roof (let’s hot air in). Terrible room. Other five floors looked lovely. This was not a double. It was a mini double

Hotel near the lake and the museum of fine arts.
Hotel near the lake and the museum of fine arts. Finding a parking place was difficult when we arrived. Having a room just next to the breakfast restaurant is no ideal in the morning. Tourist discounts are useful.
Quiet, charming, old fashion hotel.
Room was spacious, no air con but nice temperature at night, enjoying the fresh air coming from the small wood surrounding the property.
20/25 minutes walking distance from the Collegiale and City centre.
Breakfast and wifi were good.
The young lady working at the reception has been very helpful with my requests and sorting out a few small problems in my room.
Particularly appreciated the free bus pass and vouchers provided for museums and lake cruise as everything is so expensive in Switzerland.
Hotel is located in center of the city so everything is reachable by foot within 15 min. At the reception you will receive public transport transport and/or permit to park without time limit in blue zone in Neuchatel area (big plus) and card for big parking lot down the street. Room is really big, bathroom too. Bed is medium hard. In the room you will also find coffee/tea machine, cups and coffee/tea capsules. Room was really clean. Breakfast is standard buffet.
Location is perfect.
Easy to reach by car, parking place at the hotel, or to a public parking very close to the hotel.
The hotel is in front of the lake and close to the city center. Perfect to enjoy a nice walk around.
The room was very spacious with a lake-view balcony .
Bathroom was big and clean, with a bathtub and a shower.
Staff is very nice and welcoming.
We were very satisfied with our stay in this hotel.
It is centrally located, location actually is a bonus. Hotel staff very friendly and the cleaning lady very polite and helpful. Upon arrival the receptionist inform us about an upgrade. The room was old fashioned, simple but at least clean (I wonder how would look the room we originally booked) but with excellent view. This hotel needs renovation urgently and it will be a fantastic hotel to be due to his location.
Very nice place to stay. The room was spacious, facing to the river ( the waterfall didn’t disturb us, but you can hear a little noise in the room). Chef restaurant was great! Costs but worth it.The old water mill is nearby and we had a nice walk there after the breakfast.Breakfast was good, very best croissant😉
Lovely spacious clean hotel in a historic area about 5kms from the old city centre. Whilst it was a little way out we were able to catch a nearby bus so not an issue. Really enjoyed our stay as the facilities were excellent and the staff very welcoming, nothing was a bother. The place had a lovely feel to it.
B&B Louis-Favre is a very nice place to stay - the staff is lovely, the rooms are super cool and very clean and the location is excellent: walking distance to the train station as well as the old part of town! I highly recommend a stay there, whether you're visting Neuchâtel or just travelling through!
The location is perfect to visit Neuchatel. The rooms are very quiet. There was a huge party close-by and I was really scared I would not sleep but the windows are incredibly good to isolate from the noise.
Have loved the room called Rubarbe for many years. So grateful it is mostly unchanged. The ceiling! The fireplace! The comfy green velvet armchairs and couch! The bar! (now kitchen)! The VIEW
The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean, but a little old. But it was definitely worth the price and the location of the hotel.
We will definitely come back.
The Hotel is really close to the city center. I really enjoyed the express breakfast (Orange juice, Coffee and croissant). Make sure that you have a reservation for the parking.
Very good, attentive staff, easy and fast check-in, near the train station, good value for money in comparison with hotel prices in Switzerland, good wi-fi, cleanliness.
The hotel rooms were clean, and everything you needed was in the room. The location was great, less than 10 minutes walk to important locations of this small city.
