We travelled to enjoy dinner at THE COOK SHOP, a restaurant my husband likes but we also enjoyed driving around some of the neighborhoods, especially little Italy. GREAT coffee and pastries at Gina Cafe & Bar. We would be regulars there. The coffee was terrific and the Pastries were extraordinary. The ambience was great too as was the service. Wish we lived closer.
We visited Belle Isle on the way home and that was terrific too.

It has a very nice park area along the Detroit River, with many walking paths. Being across the river from Detroit a person has many opportunities to go to Detroit for sporting events, concerts or anything else one can think of.

We can’t really complain we had a great time. The only complaint I have is the cost was high for a one night stay and the wifi wasn’t working the greatest. Overall it was a great time and we would love to return in the future

We took this trip on the recommendation of an article in the Toronto Star of a weekend trip to Windsor (we live in Toronto) and I agree that it's an ideal place to explore for a weekend. Stay on the riverfront near downtown if possible, it's a great view and downtown store and restaurants are in easily walkable distance. Take a river cruise for an overview of both the Windsor and Detroit waterfronts. Learn about the history of Canadian whisky at the Hiram Walker and Sons distillery and tour the adjacent planned city of Walkerville set up in the 1980s. Sample Windsor-style pizza (we liked Armando's). Jackson Park is beautiful, and visit Dieppe Gardens (with the historic Spirit of Windsor steak locomotive and the Windsor Sculpture park along the river front.

We were booked to Stay in Windsor for 3 nights. We left after 2.
Our trip there was for a concert and to have fun at the casino. The casino was the most underwhelming casino I have ever been to. Didn't really explore much of the city but from what we did see, it was definitely way more terrible than I was expecting. Most of the people we met though were very nice and friendly. And the couple bars we visited were great, which were Eastwoods Grill and the Loose Goose. Staff at both places were top notch!

The hotel room were very nice and comfortable.
The hotel room were very nice and comfortable. It would have been helpful if there had been some information in the room regarding restaurants and food services at the hotel. A map of the facility is needed in the room, I understand there is pool but it was not referenced on any of the signs throughout the facility. At least not on the first or second floors.
This bed and breakfast within prime Walkerville is found within of the single most iconic and beautifully historic neighbourhoods in all of Windsor, Ontario!!

Heritage, atmospheric building. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Shared kitchen space. Near U of Windsor, so perfect location of faculty. This boutique hotel suited my needs perfectly as it offers the coziness/hospitality of an Airbnb and the independence of a hotel.
We came to Windsor for baseball and the location of the hotel was amazing. The pool was closed but not a shock because of the restrictions. The staff were so so soooo friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We would stay again
The room was large enough so we did not feel cramped, the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The lighting was good and the heating and cooling was great. Everything was in walking distance local pubs, restaurants and casino.
Well appointed hotel. We came for a tournament and this hotel was only 5 minutes from our game location - excellent! The staff were helpful and pleasant. It was also a short drive to Windsor downtown with restaurants and shopping.
The location of the Hotel was fantastic, right in front of the Lake that separates Windsor and Detroit Michigan USA. The view from the Hotel room, the breakfast and the restaurant in the visinity was a bonus.
Very nice location, conveniently located downtown with quick access to the train station, theatre, and nice restaurants. The staff was nice and responsive to messages. The room was comfortable and clean.
Neros - Fantastic food and good deal on Wednesday for steak and lobster!!!
Great view facing water, best view I ever had in a hotel.
Would love to bring our family there again and have same room :)
It is a very quiet hotel, well maintained, clean, and has a very friendly staff. This is my preferred place to stay in Windsor. I live just across the river, so it it close by.
Good location, close to River front, parks and downtown Windsor. Tunnel to US is 5 min away and bridge is 10 min. Decent restaurants in the area that would suit most people.
This family run motel was cheap and cheerful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom appeared brand new with a modern large shower. I would definitely return.
Very clean! I was surprised cause the value was relatively cheap. It also had a small kitchen area, full with an oven! Very well organized and clean space.
🇺🇦 We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was clean and calm. Freshly renovated. Friendly staff. Breakfast is modest, but it's better than nothing.
