We stayed in a King room, which was nice and roomy with a little seating area with comfortable chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The breakfast was very good with a chef on hand to cook eggs or omelettes. The location was convenient, close to town, with plenty of free parking.

The hotel was as shown in the photo- the rooms. The Stone House is not actually what you rent here, there is a classic U shaped cluster of rooms around the Stone house that you reside in. These are typical budget rooms. It is clean, has the basics inside. Nothing fancy. Basic room, NO BED BUGS, NO ROACHES (I looked).

The breakfast was delicious - and very filling. The extra nice touch was that it was served on silver platters, etc. The whole place had a welcoming atmosphere- a very beautifully renovated older home. The hosts were very gracious.

This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!
This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!
I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food....
I don't recommend it to anyone!

Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place.
Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place. The town has great restaurants and is easy to navigate. The people are friendly and helpful.
The roads could use a little work on them.
Thai Express and Mezza where good for tasty fast food.
The British Cafe was great with very friendly staff and you could take your dog to the outdoor patio.

Victoria Park was excellent
Swiss Chalet is the best in the Province
Not to easy to get around Truro. You need a GPS
The Glooscap Trail is great ,very scenic. Truro a great central location to go to other places of interest.
We were in town visiting family and knew we would not be in the hotel much, why pay for a hotel that has all the extras when we knew would we would not use. Plus paying double for a hotel just would be a waste of hard earned money. Our room was clean and the owner was very nice. We would stay at Berry's again.
We only spent one night on our tour of Northeast Nova Scotia. Check in was smooth and easy. The attached restaurant, One 50 on Willow, had a limited menu but the service and food were excellent. Try the butter chicken! Our room was spacious and comfortable and clean. What you would expect from a Best Western.
Wonderful breakfasts! Exceptionally clean and comfortable room and common spaces. And, our hosts Anne and D'Arcy were friendly, helpful and gracious. Belgravia was our favorite accomodation in Nova Scotia. A great central location for day trips.
Absolutely would love to return!
The house was immaculate.
The breakfast was AMAZING!!
The company was just lovely and made us like feel like we were surrounded by family. Highly recommend staying with Jenny and Justin if ever needing a place instead of a hotel etc
The hotel is really outdated decor-wise, but it was quite clean, tv was just fine. Bed was a little too soft, definitely needs updating. However, for a budget friendly overnight stop, it was worth what we paid. I highly recommend it!
Place is so homey. The breakfast is the best. Way way better than the breakfast in the hotels. Ms. Ruth is so nice and very accommodating. I love the place. We will definitely recommend this place.
everything was great but.... you need to offer flatter pillows.. i find now all the hotels have really thick pillows and so many have neck pain afterward, i do too and i need a flat pillow.
Good location in our bike route and near classic downtown area museum and Library. Pizza and wrap from restaurant were good. Nice breakfast buffet at the Best Western across the street.
the motel has the Charme of the good old times. the hotel is old and needs some remodeling. but we liked that it was very clean. for the money it was ok.
The room was cozy and clean; the breakfast fabulous!! And our host and hostess were welcoming and friendly. This is a wonderful place to stay in Truro.
