Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament.
Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament. We found it easy to get around with plenty of places to dine and shop if you wanted. The central sports facilities are super - something to wish your city had. The only problem - ice plant seemed undersized and did not freeze floods.

Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows.
Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows. Some lovely areas some quite run down. Our family took in the Regina Science Centre. Can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed it. Especially the IMAX documentary. The facility was clean, fun for the entire family and lots of space to roam without feeling overwhelmed by other people. The IMAX film we choose was Wings Over Water. Gorgeous cinematography that the kids truly enjoyed and even my son, daughter and I learned about the wetland birds of the prairies. A great day was had by all. We stayed approx. 3.5 hours.

There's a lot of worthy places to visit in Regina, 3days is not enough. If you're planning to go to Regina, you must visit the Saskatchewan Parliament Building, they have a free tour every 30minutes from 9am to 3pm. And try to meet Scotty, the world's largest T-Rex in Royal Saskatchewan Museum, admission is free, if you're generous they're accepting donations starting at 5cad.

Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P.
Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P. Museum, Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Natural History etc. It is easy to get around due to the city's small size, good signage as well as good lighting. I prefer Wascana Park where there are lots of birds and beautiful trees. It is a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the sunset which is beautiful!
I stayed at a five star hotel two weeks ago when I was in another city for work and this Ramada inn in the middle of nowhere puts that place to shame. I could lick the bottom of my shower and my breath would be fresher for it. The bed is a cloud. They have a continental breakfast but they serve it to you thru a window so no one but they touch the food. It's beyond clean. It's well run. And all the people who work here are so nice, helpful, thoughtful, and talented.
The front desk staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a desk and a seating area. It was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee/tea items. It was air conditioned and had a large TV and blackout curtains on the windows. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There was bottled water in the room. The hotel is near downtown and we could walk to local restaurants. There is indoor parking.
The king sized bed was comfortable and all areas of the suite were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering a 4am wake up call, allowing for long-term parking (for a reasonable fee), and providing free airport shuttles from 4:15am. This hotel is easy to access from the highway, handy for airport travel, good value for money, and I highly recommend staying here!
The breakfast was very good. I chose the hotel because it is on the eastern edge of Regina and we were travelling east the next morning. We were on the highway heading home minutes after leaving the parking lot.
The room was the largest one we stay in during our travels to Victoria. There is a full size refrigerator and a stove top.
Large, clean room. Very quiet, even though it was near the elevator. Very friendly, accommodating staff. I was travelling through Regina, on route to Alberta, so the location just off the highway was convenient. Also pet friendly!
The service was awesome! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Probably the best hotel I have stayed in. Flew in Regina and they let me check in a little early and stay late as I had a later flight! No questions asked!
Nice Marriott experience. Newly updated carpet and decor. Nice showers and bathroom. Conveniently located near core of Regina close to lots of stores, restaurants, and about 5km from airport.
