Our room was a nice size, extremely clean, and very comfortable! Also, being on the second level of the property meant lots of privacy. Breakfast was most enjoyable - with fresh food and a variety of options.
Our host Paul was exceptional in his role - providing information regarding local resources, and, even going out of his way to clean the snow off our car after a storm so we could head out quickly for our long trip home.
We will definitely be returning to this property!

Napanee is a quaint and quiet town. The scenery is lovely.
Napanee is a quaint and quiet town. The scenery is lovely. The main street has several artisan shops, bakeries and cafes. The Waterfront Restaurant is a great eatery with attractive landscaping and outdoor sitting. You can relax and cruise the river in a pontoon boat or sit in the park and watch and there is a wonderful playground for children. It's a great experience for all ages

Napanee is a great little town.
Napanee is a great little town. We've only ever driven in off the highway to stop for gas but this time we were there for 3 days. We discovered some great restaurants, including one on the waterfront in an old 1800s building and a pub on the main street. There's an awesome coffee shop with the best scones, Coffee Cravings. And for people with kids, the best playground ever, which has a zip-line type ride. Even our 18-year-old loved it.

We loved the waterfront restaurant the food was excellent...
We loved the waterfront restaurant the food was excellent and it is on a garden. Service was friendly. Napanee is a little far from sandbanks however when other hotels are full you can stay in Napanee!
The motel is quaint, quiet, VERY well kept (numerous flowers everywhere) and VERY clean.
The front desk was efficient and friendly.
The room was spotless: nice comfortable beds, sparkling bathroom with all comforts (towels, toiletries, hairdryer), fridge.
On site there also was a pool (spotless), picnic tables and barbecues available for the guests. We didn’t use any of it but it was a pleasant surprise to find this all available.
We highly recommend the Fox Motor Inn for all the above mentioned reasons.
Thank you for a lovely stay!
Surprisingly spacious, newly renovated room with modern, solid, spacey furniture and equipped with kitchenette which our family always appreciate. Soft mattresses (if you like it). Quiet area, despite of being close to a big street. Quiet A/C unit, good wifi, Petro-Canada across the street and Tims around the corner for urgent needs.
The breakfast was very poor unless you like everything wrapped in plastic. Even the bread was divided into plastic packages of two slices. We thought single use plastic was banned or soon to be banned in Canada. Time your hotel became more environmentally conscientious. Can you not use real cups plates and cutlery, buy a dishwasher.
Location was good, Our team will be returning summer of 2023 to Napanee . The only problem I have is that our price doubled to the regular guests that stay at this motel. I realize that they would get a better price, but double ? Unfortunately our team will look at other accommodations due to this price we where charged.
THE LOCATION WAS GOOD+THE MOTEL WAS A BENEFACTOR OF A EXTENSIVE RENOVATION JOB AND MOTEL EXPANSION.SMALL,BUT VERY GOOD POOL+THE GROUNDS WERE VERY WELL MAINTAINED.BARBEQUE AREAS + CHILD PLAY AREA,VERY WELL MAINTAINED.I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN,IF I HAD A GOOD DISCOUNT DEAL.FOR A $100 A NIGHT OR LESS,A GREAT VALUE.
The location was perfect, right off the 401, easy to find and the area was quiet.
The buffet breakfast was delicious, of all the hotels we have stayed at in 2 weeks of travel, it is the ONLY one that served bacon instead of sausage 😋. Thank you. I mentioned it to the woman in charge, she was impressed.
Room was meticulous and had all necessary amenities. Most importantly, bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was waiting for us when we got up in the morning. Paul was an exceptional host. My son asked to go back the next time we visit Napanee. Highly recommended.
The hotel manager was so friendly, check in and check out were a total breeze! The location was really close to the downtown area, and there’s a great breakfast diner right across the street. We loved our stay here.
Very nice. Old school style motel but not run down like most motels of today. The owner is VERY nice and keeps everything in perfect shape. Best motel I have been in in over 30 years. Im very impressed.
Great Central Location to all that Quinte area has to offer. All kinds of room for parking. Immaculate Modern Home Will everything amenity and convenience you will require on your vacation.
The free breakfast and coffee were nice to have on site. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. I was staying with my daughter and the room was spacious and the beds comfortable.
We liked absolutely everything. The Inn is a gem. It’s located perfectly for a day trip in to Toronto to watch a baseball game. No hassle. Clean, tidy & sunny.
